It has to do with the players image of their character and 1st level does limit your options.  If the main complaint were based on wanting to be more powerful, I'd be less inclined to listen(humble beginnings make for smarter adventurers in my book), but if a character isn't going to have the right overall feel and tenor, I'm more sympathetic.</p></blockquote><p></p>
