[QUOTE="Shiroiken, post: 7881544, member: 6775477"] I pretty much have a favorite for every edition. Picking a single one would be tricky, but if I had to choose, it would be Quillion Al'Ray from 3E. Quillion started off as a disgraced sun elf wizard whose siblings had aided an invasion against Evermeet. He vowed to chase his siblings down and bring them to justice. Aided by his friend and bodyguard, they traveled to Waterdeep where he was apprenticed to Khelben Blackstaff for a time. During their stay in Waterdeep, they met with a strange human that had become one of the Chosen of Miliki, who traveled with a menagerie of animals, and a dwarf cleric devoted to the god of dirt. Quillion traveled with these companions to various parts of the Sword Coast and faced many dangers. Quillion accidentally led them into a trap after hearing a rumor that his brother was seen around Ardeep Forest. His brother had allied with the Fey'ri, demon elves, who captured them. They attempted to corrupt Quillion, while the others faced torture, but they managed to escape. Ashamed by his actions, he fell into a deep despair. Afterwards, Quillion was approached by strange mages who called themselves the Shadowvar, who offered the power needed to defeat the Fey'ri. Tempted by the offer, Quillion refused, and returned to face the Fey'ri with his own magic instead. He was forced to slay his brother's Fey'ri daughter, but he drove the Fey'ri from the forest. When he later aided the Chosen of Miliki against the Shadowvar who invaded his home of the Silver Marches, Quillion realized that the Shadowvar's offer would have meant the death of his friend and the fall of the Silver Marches. While he never found his brother or sister, his actions brought honor back to his family, and he was accepted back to Evermeet where he took up his father's role of overseeing the Mithal that protects the isle.
