Very nice, but it's not even my favorite Hero Games product. That would be Lands of Mystery also by Aaron. Not only did it give you tools to run a Lost World Justice, Inc. campaign, it also gave a feel for how to handle running characters of widely divergent power levels in the same game. The best RPG supplement, in my mind, would have to be a tie between Trollpak & Griffin Mountain for Runequest. Trollpak is, by far, the best and most detailed race sourcebook for any RPG. It contains discussion on "scientific" discussion of their darksense while also containing the mythological history of the race. It has great sidebars, such as the list of things a troll ate while caged by a scholar. The adventures are excellent, with some interesting NPCs and novel encounters (starting off with a drinking contest). Griffin Mountain on the other hand is a great detailed campaign setting. It has an area of relative civilization with three citadels each controlled by different powers from the campaign world. It also has an area purely for exploration. There are many, many encounters and mini-adventures included in the book. One of the most memorable gives you a chance to free a major spirit/minor goddess from her imprisonment and get a chance to help restart her worship. Not bad for something that started as a Judges Guild RQ supplement. When Paul Jacquays went to Greg to get approval for the non-Gloranthan supplement Greg liked it so much it got turned into a Gloranthan supplement and grew, and grew and grew (it's huge, even by today's standards).
