That thing was huge, and "tanbuck" was the color, which was sort of like hunter green, except uglier. An old maid school teacher that my Mom knew owned it, and babied it. It had a huge engine. But then, it had to, it weighed more than a tank. We called it the green dinosaur.Once I got to college, I got a Cutlass Calais. The polar opposite. It was small, and zippy. I really liked it. The cassette deck would lock up, and I had to slam the console repeatedly to get it to unstick. Otherwise, it was a good car. I could zip through traffic in it. I think they had a lot of electrical problems, because you don't see many of them on the road anymore.The first car I bought for myself was a '94 Ford Probe. I really liked that car. It was sharp. After that was a '98 Chrysler Sebring. I really liked it, too, but it was expensive to fix when things needed fixing. I now have a "family" car - a 2001 Kia Optima.Oddly enough, when I met my wife, we both drove Chrysler Sebrings. I had a friend in college who had an idea of starting a dating service solely based on the kind of car people drove. I think he was on to something.</blockquote>
