Players Age group from 18 to 36 Realisticlly this is an amalgamation of three age groups. There are three of us at 36 Each started independantly and drifted together over the years playing with the same people at different times Two at 28ish One is a relative and the other an apprentice who got dragged into a game by his boss and stuck at it. One at 22, and one at 18. The elder was a jobing actor met while resting and working as barman at a local pub The younger is the younger brother of a player who got married and disappeared. Jobs Management Consultant Supermarket Food Buyer Supermarket IT guy Aerospace Engineer Machine Operator Telemarketting Operator(Out of work actor) Bar Supervisor Style It very much depends on which of the oldies is DM'ing. One is fond of high magic, fast level increase based on monster killing, all the expansion sets, and an ever increasing set of kills. Some dice rolling required. The other two are more story led slow progression, low magic, own worlds, simple monsters and lots of roleplaying and puzzle solving, experience gained based not on killing things but on sttory progression. But it doesn't matter who is DM'ing it tends to be roleplayed in character, to the exclusion of the game sometimes. Example The Paladin and the Cleric got into an actual argument on the creation of the world. They were arguing properly to the extent that they missed the appearance of some monster or other and took no part in the ensueing combat, finishing the argument with an agreement to differ. Ace fun and completely in character.
