Scene: Guess the product.

Clip: Ad for an ad agency.

Host's Line: "If you guessed 'ad agency', award yourself 10 Charisma and 5 Intelligence points."

My take: If they won't let you in the front door, there's always the tv.

Host's Line: "If you guessed 'ad agency', award yourself 10 Charisma and 5 Intelligence points."

Did the host really use that line as his way of congratulating anyone who guessed (at home) the product? Truly the writer, if not the host, is a closet gamer seeking to go public. Anything in a scripted show has to go through a lot of hands, and be explained if obscure. I wonder how many just shrugged (and knew the meaning), and how many others needed to be given the initiation speech to why that makes sense.

Certainly did. The whole thing reminded me of the early days of ABC's overnight news show, World News Now.
