But put them against 10-15 opponents in dynamic surrounding (some fly, some run and gun, some dimension door to the rear line), it's back to basic action economy. Martials are beast vs single target. But they lack options that forces enemies to stick to them. On the other hand, casters are experts when dealing with masses. AoE damage is still purely in domain of casters. Killing one monster with 200-400 hp isn't that hard. Killing 20 monsters with 20 hp is. Specially when fight isn't in blank 20*20 room.</p></blockquote><p></p>
