Z-MAN GAMES ANNOUNCES PROJECT: VILLAIN SEARCH
Do you have a great idea for a Silver Age (1960s) villain? Would you like to see that villain published in Omlevex, the upcoming M&M Superlink setting book for the M&M Superlink program? If so, you're in luck!
Just send us a write-up of your villain. You need not be familiar with the Mutants and Masterminds RPG in order to participate.
RULES:
1) The following information must be provided: Background, Personality, Appearance, Powers/Equipment, Weaknesses and Abilities (how much he can lift, what skills he possesses, etc.). A character sketch (in jpg or gif format) is optional.
2) The entry must be presented in Txt format.
3) You may submit up to three villains.
4) All entries must be sent to babycindi@cableone.net
5) All entries must be sent to us by November 1, 2003. The winner will be announced November 7, 2003.
6) Not a rule so much as a piece of advice: Make your villain "feel" like a Silver Age bad guy. No matter how good a villain is, we will not select it as the winner if it doesn't have the 1960s comicbook flavor. If you aren't terribly familiar with that era, do a bit of research first. You could do a lot worse than checking out http://www.samcci.comics.org/ to start getting into the Silver Age spirit.
7) The winning villain becomes property of Z-Man Games, so if it's based on a beloved villain you've been playing for years, you might want to think twice before sending it to us.
8) We retain the right to tweak the winning villain's information to fit better into the Omlevex Universe.
9) Employees of Z-Man Games and Spectrum Game Studios or anyone who has contributed to Omlevex (writers, artists, etc.) are ineligible to participate in Project: Villain Search.
THE PRIZE:
Obviously, since this is a contest, there will be a prize for the lucky and talented winner. The winning entry will be published in the Omlevex book, complete with a fantastic rendering by one of our artists! Furthermore, the winner will get a complementary copy of the book upon its release in February 2004.
So, there you have it! What are you waiting for? You've got super villains to create!
