Zeitgeist Games Licenses Blackmoor
April 12, 2004 Oviedo, Florida ― Zeitgeist Games Inc. announced today that is has completed a licensing agreement with Wizards of the Coast regarding the legendary
Blackmoor fantasy property. The license will be used to produce the upcoming
Dave Arneson’s Blackmoor RPG line. The fantasy world of
Blackmoor was created by Dave Arneson (co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons) and is considered the first fantasy campaign in the history of the role playing game genre.
The first installment in the
Dave Arneson’s Blackmoor line will be the core campaign book slated for release in Q3 2004. The core campaign book features a cover painting by the venerable Larry Elmore and spotlights the writing talents of Dave Arneson, Jeff Quinn, Richard Pocklington and Ari Marmell. This lineup will enchant players, making the core campaign book a “must have” for roleplaying fans around the world.
