[QUOTE="Mal Malenkirk, post: 4906633, member: 834"] Jarec falls to the ground like a lump. But he doesn't lie still or silent; his body thrashes violently and a long, guttural scream escape his lips. It isn't any sound a human body can emit. Under the horrified eyes of Mesa, Jarel-Karn and Andrec, the body of Jarec begins to balloon. His skins stretches and suddenly ruptures. A new creatures escapes from the confines of its flesh prison like a gruesome newborn. Soon, a gigantic shadowy octopus looking nightmare stands where the necromancer stood. It wildly flails with its dozen of tentacles, forcing the heroes back against the wall in a hurry and then breaks free, moving south a bit before breaking through the roof violently and moving to the street. --- Up in the morgue, a wild Tor suddenly roars. -''ENOUGH!'' He tears with both swords into the zombie and nearly cut it down in three distinct pieces. The Spider Zombie falls inert to the floor. Tor's breathing is heavy. At first, his ally think he is just exhausted but he soons keels over, shivering uncontrollably and breathing irregularly. -''That's.... I am all right. I think I caught something from one of these beastie. I... I don't think I can continue. I am so sorry...'' He seems in bad shape but in no immediate danger. Luckily for him, he is in an hospital. [sblock] I run Tor early in the hope of closing the fight right now. I forgot the extra 2 poinst of damage from Longtooth shifting in previous attacks, I am adding it now. Two fanged Strike [url=http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2224704/]vs AC 17 (1d20+7=21, 1d8+6=9, 1d20+7=20, 1d8+6=14, 1d8=8)[/url] 2 hits, 31 points of damage. Way to go Tor, as your last act in this adventure! Tor now leaves the party. [/sblock] [sblock=Tor XP] Time XP : Tor's PC has been involved from July 11th to August 24th : 44 day. 1000 XP / 365 * 44 = 121 XP. Monster XP 9 minion zombie * 31 = 279 9 Zombie * 125 = 1125 1 Grave hound = 150 1 Jarec = 150 8 thugs = 200 1 Halfling thief = 125 Spider Zombie = 150 279 + 1125 + 150 + 150 +200 + 125 + 150 = 2179 2179 / 6 = 363 XP Total : 121 + 363 = 484 XP For Judge approval Treasure : due to the nature of the adventure, to be officialized at the end of the adventure, but it will be worth 48% of what you are supposed to get in one level. [/sblock] [sblock=What next?] A bit of roleplay as you catch your breath then you can't escape the fact that the poor citizens of Daunton are screaming bloody murder because a Chtulluesque creature is wreaking havok up in the streets. Give me some time to whip up the map. Of course, you get a short rest. This is also a milestone [/sblock] [/QUOTE]
