Suggestions for a high level build archer

Separate class features.

MS and AMS already break the rules.
Warlock Invocations already break those rules.
Racial traits already break those rules.
Feats break those rules.

The rules of the Spellcasting feature only describe the rules of the Spellcasting feature.

They do not preclude you from learning spells from other features.

No they don't. You still need to be able to cast them to acquire them, and that means having slots. Spell slots fall under Spellcasting, and thus are affected by the MC Spellcasting rules.

Warlock Invocations already break those rules.
What rules? Warlock Invocations key off of Warlock levels: You can never get a spell from an invocation before you have a spell slot that can cast it, due to level restrictions on the invocations.

The rules of the Spellcasting feature only describe the rules of the Spellcasting feature.
And learning spells is defined by the learning spells rules, which directly reference Spellcasting, which is affected by multiclassing.

Magical Secrets lets you learn spells of a level you can cast, not of levels you know.

EK 9, Bard 6 has 5th level spell slots.

It is different from multiclassing rules.
It is different, but it has it's own rules that cover it.

"A spell you choose must be of a level you can cast, as shown on the Bard table,"

Not the multi-class spell slot table.

Divine Smite
"...when you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can expend one paladin spell slot"

Sage Advice says all of your spell slots are usable for Divine Smite, you can even use much higher level slots that what your paladin level would grant.

Chapter 6 doesn't say anything about Divine Smite or Additional Magical Secrets.

The Warlock table tops off at spell level 5, and yet they can cast 6-9th level spells. Because they have Mystic Arcanum, which is separate from spellcasting.

Clearly someone's not been keeping up with Eratta. You can use any spell slot for divine smite because divine smite isn't supposed to say "paladin spell slot".

That's was changed in the errata.

You are correct. So no special rules apply.

It must be a spell you can cast, as shown on the bard table.

And where is the errata that says Multiclassing has additional rules for Bard features not mentioned in Chapter 6?

The bard table does not show what spell slots you have available.

You determine what spells you know and can prepare from the Spellcasting feature based on the Bard table, but Additional Magical Secrets does not count against what spells you can prepare. The Bard table doesn't show you what level spells you are able to cast, because if you multiclass, you can cast spells at higher levels.

That's wrong, you can't learn spells higher than your arcane knowledge allows. It's in the rules of magic. Also a lvl 9 EK is only equal to a lvl 3 wizard and obviously a lvl 6 bard can only learn 3rd level spells, so no you can't use magical Secrets to learn a 5th level spell if you can't learn 5th level spells.

The second thing, is Bards don't get Magical Secrets until 10th lvl anyway, at which point, he would be able to learn that spell, but the level 6 college of lore can only choose from 3rd lvl and below. It specifically goes off your bard level like you said, not the multi-class table.
