D&D 5E New Luke Gygax adventures!

darjr

I crit!
Luke Gygax and Thomas Valley for Gary Con created Adventures League Con Created Content that is AL legal and up one the DMSGuild right now.

I haven't read it yet but it looks like a cool tower crawl in three adventures.

Level 5-10 2 hours apiece.

CCC-GARY01:

A mysterious building has been constructed in the Zhent Slums outside Mulmaster. No one knows who or what built this massive circular ziggurat. That is, until you received an invitation for a dinner party to be held at the very top of the structure. What delights and mysteries await you?

CCC-GARY02:

Disaster has struck, and you and your fellow party members have found yourself caught in a huge building, descending deeper into the depths of the structure as you try to find a way out. Laid in your path are deadly obstacles and mysterious clues as to why you came to be here in the first place.

CCC-GARY03:

All out mayhem has encompassed the ground floors of the huge structure you've been exploring. Forces fight back and forth through the halls, and you find yourself drawn into fights where you hope to survive long enough just to make it out. Part Three of the Gary Con 2017 adventure arc.

IMO, all the AL content is overpriced. And apparently this is more so.

But, until it has some reviews on how good the content actually is (not how good the DM at Gary Con was in running it) we really won't know or be able to judge if its worth it.

There are very few adventure authors who I have faith in the quality of there adventures, and Luke isn't one of them.

It's the cost of a taco bell meal...

$5 for 16 pages, of which at least five are front page and the usual Al introduction? :hmm:

It's almost like WotC wants to pay it's author's a decent wage for a week of work:

How long would it take you to write a quality publishable 4-hour adventure? Then think about how much you'd want to be paid for that amount of time and how many sales you'd need to get that at $3 per sale.
