You can always just experiment, using color=(any six digits).

F'rinstance, here are:

BBB699
A78AFF
789958
399977

I love fooling around with colors, actually... and if you adjust one variable at a time you can figure out how to make your light purple.

[edit] Looks like that A78AFF may work for you...

Thanks! Actually, the second one you've got there works just right.

Digit 1-2 are the color red in hexadecimal, from 00 (0 in dec) to FF (255 in dec).

Digit 3-4 are the color green in hexadecimal, from 00 (0 in dec) to FF (255 in dec).

Digit 5-6 are the color blue in hexadecimal, from 00 (0 in dec) to FF (255 in dec).

Example: #70FF70

Nice green color, not an intense green color such as 00FF00 but a smoother green shade.

Example: #0000FF

Blue. That's it.

Example: #454647

So close to each other the result will look grey. A dark grey color.

Example: #564534

More of a red-green color than a green-blue color. Brown, that is.

Example: #FFF0C0

Light beige (so close to white FFFFFF)

You just have to play and get the best for the background, because some just look ugly. :)

Aha- so that's how it works! Thanks, Psionicist- I knew you could fiddle around with it but not what each digit (or pair of digits, more like) represented...
