Interesting, thank you for your efforts.

I guess it is better than not playing. I never played with just me as player and DM. I have played with one other player and we both had PCs and eventually he got a sidekick PC to help fight.

Thanks. I enjoy both styles of play. I do play regular games with players a few times per year. Solitary play scratches the itch when I can't set up a regular game. Plus, it's a fun way to create adventures and play test them at the same time.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve tried solo play a couple of times but I don’t have to wealth of resources that you do.

I’d be interested in the mechanics of how you generate and decide things. You mention rolls for yes/no questions and using the DMG tables. But some more details would be cool. Who/how the monsters attack, exactly how you decide what a clue is. Etc.

Thanks. You don't needs miniatures, scenery and tiles to do solo gaming. Sure its visually more pleasing but a pencil and a tablet of grid paper will do fine.
