Yeah, plus Kubota will probably e able to get a good lawyer to game the system. That'll eat up another 4-5 strips.

A shame Elan is too good to just run Kubota through, then dump him over the side for the sharks. A shame Nale got all the brains in that family (and that sure ain't saying much.).

He's had that option before. He didn't let the bad guy die then. He's a Good hero.

And besides. Trials are dramatic and advance the plot. And it's Elan.
