If you can push your Wis to 13, you can get access to the Disciple of Law feat, which is great for a bard (+5 to checks to aid another, and aid another proivdes +3 instead of +2).
I might grab that when I get my level 4 stat bump; sounds like a good one.
Not sure if its allowed because of its fluff tied to Forgotten Realms, but if it is, Purple Dragon is a solid theme. Gives a stance you can use give a boost to your MBAs and at level 5 gives you an additional +1 when you aid another (whcih would be a total of +4 with Disciple of Law).
Yeah, I haven't even looked at themes yet.

Oh my GAWD, this is a HUGE oversight. I should have thought of getting a parrot arcane familiar T^T

Wondering if there's any way I can get it without spending to much...

EDIT: An AQUATIC parrot. Muhahaha...

Wat's damage is pretty average, but will get a bit better as I gain a few feats and magic items. But the character is actually built for getting his push as high as possible. At level 11 when he's finally able to use Thunderwave at-will, I think it will be a push 9 or 10.

I just had a look through the themes, and I do really like the Purple Dragon theme, so if it is permitted in this campaign I might take it.

It might leave me a little strapped for minor actions during the first round of combat, between having to put on the Skaldic Aura, minor action to activate a bard at-will, and then this stance, which leaves no actions left to attack unless I spend an AP.

I've heard of (and in the past allowed) characters to stay in stances and aspects even out of combat, so if this is allowed, it will mitigate my concerns.

Here is the exact proposal that was approved for allowing themes into the campaign.

OOC: Allow themes (excluding those from the Dark Sun Campaign Setting). Themes that do not fit into the L4W setting MUST be re-flavored by the player if they are to be used in any way besides game mechanics (i.e. No Renegade Red Wizards of Thay, but you could be a renegade of another arcane academy).

So it looks like Purple Dragon is fine as long as you reflavor it to match to L4W world.

This makes me happy since I personally know the author of the article and want to see his themes get more use.

On another note: my character's name is read as thems, I named him after...some river or other, I can't recall.

Were you trying for the British pronunciation of the River Thames of southern England, by any chance?

Should we be fortunate enough to hit level 2, my next feat choice would be Intelligent Blademaste,r which would add 3 to my melee basic attack value, if that is of interest to anyone.

Ok, my character Sabyhna the half-elven Skaldic Bard is up in rough mechanical form. I will add a picture and the fluff later tonight.

I am taking input on power selection - if any of you have a combo that you think would really work, let me know. Keep in mind that I'm trying to keep it to the stuff that comes from the Feywild book to keep my options as compatible with basic attacks as possible.

For example, I'm open to changing one of my at-wills to Bolstering Speech to hand out 4thp every time I hit, or changing my encounters and dailies for something more damaging.
