Is there a 3E Warlock-type build, but for a divine caster?

Has somebody out there done this yet?

And when I say "divine caster", I'm not talking "evil", but "good". Sort of like, the antithesis of a destructive arcane caster, a benevolent divine caster.

Anybody?

Thanks!!!

It's called the Eldritch Theurge

Just checked this. I'd have to say "not really", but I do appreciate your feedback. I'm thinking more along the lines of a good priest, instead of having an eldritch blast, he's got something that gives strength to allies. Maybe healing, maybe courage, maybe extra armour. Dunno yet. It looks like something I'm going to have to make on my own. Thanks, anyway. :)

Well, if you're good with fan material, there's this Warlock rewrite that includes all sorts of different heritages including divine. The Eldritch Blast still does damage, but there are holy powers and invocations available. If you don'y like the damaging Eldritch Blast then come up with your own replacement and keep the rest.

There's also the cleric from Monte Cook's Book of Experimental Might. Spell casting classes get disciplines which are basically at-will powers that represent things that the class does all day every day. In the cleric's case, this includes healing, turning undead, blessing and other things like that. Not exactly a warlock but functionally similar in a "holy stuff at-will" kind of way.

Finally you could steal stuff from the Dragon Shaman in Player's Handbook II with it's auras - I always thought those types of powers would be good for a regular divine character.

If none of those are exactly what you want, they probably give you all the pieces you need to build an at-will power holy class of your own.

So... Like a cleric, but not a cleric because you know how to build a cleric
. And like a warlock, but not with eldritch blast. Instead of edlritch blast some kind of buffing or healing, but not like a cleric does... have I got that right?

Sort of! You pretty much got the 2nd part right. It's not that I don't want the cleric because I know how to build a cleric. It's just that the warlock build has certain advantages to it. That's all....

LoL, I know what a cleric is. A cleric is built like a cleric. A warlock is built like a warlock. What I want is a divine caster (cleric, priest, et. al.) who is mechanically built like a warlock.

Do you mean a healer/buffer with at-will powers?
