Hey SuperZero!

I'm glad to see this game is going to move! So I posted this character without looking at the others', but its obviously too similar to Mattan's. Let me rework something today and tomorrow, and I'll consider the wizard/cleric, ranger and bard roles filled. I may go back to my original idea of a paladin/warlock.
Cheers,

SG

I'll get my sheet sorted in a little bit when work slows down, but I just wanted to throw this in quick.

My plan was to stick with Wizard the rest of the way so if you were planning to go the cleric route, that's certainly open. I want you to be able to play something that interests you though so I'm willing to adjust my character. If you are excited about playing a wizard, let me know and I'll adjust my character to give you that niche.

how are you doing 2nd level's Hit Points? Do you want us to roll or use a base? Just wondering. I will edit now.
Given that it's a generous base that's better than rolling on average, you should probably just use that.

I had assumed both of you were, since you both had higher Int and comparatively low Wis. I s'pose wizards probably care more about their casting stat, though, so I might have been off base.

At the top of Caleb's sheet it says his saving throw proficiencies are Dex and Int. In the class section it correctly says Wis and Cha, though.
Don't forget about expensive material components. Specifically he'll have spent 10 gp on the components for having a familiar.
Backstory looks all good. Is his unknown mother someone you'd want to pop up on his adventures? If the fiendish languages are due to his training to oppose Ragesia, they traffic specifically with devils and not really with demons. So you don't really need Abyssal if you want to take another standard language instead.

The saving throws slipped through since I was converting a prior character to preserve formatting. That should be fixed along with the familiar cost. I'll give some thought to the languages. I'm away from my PHB at the moment to look it over. Thanks!

Thanks for the offer, but it's ok. Making characters is fun, and I'll come up with something I will enjoy ;-)
SuperZero, are the cantrips from the Sword Coast Adventurer Guide available in your game? Also, can you tell me what are the typical languages?
Thanks and cheers,

SG

Andocles's Initiative bonus should be +4--it's a Dexterity check, so Jack of All Trades applies.
I see his equipment includes "Lock of hair from Danaea," but I don't see Danaea mentioned elsewhere... I assume she (?) is a lover, given this is the favor of an admirer from the Entertainer's equipment list?

.

Thanks for the pick up on the init. I honestly cannot remember what I was doing with the lock of hair or how it fit the character, so I have removed it. :)

I'm afraid I don't have that one. I've picked it up a few times, but I'm not really interested in the setting material.

The most common languages around Gate Pass would be Common, Orc, and Elvish. Dwarvish is probably most common after that.

A favor from an admirer is a standard part of the Entertainer background's equipment, and a lock of hair is one of the examples, so that's where it came from. I was just confused that you had named that person but I didn't see that name mentioned elsewhere.

Fair enough! Fewer options make my life easier ;-)

Backstory:
Davaros' is originally from the Shining Lands of Shahalesti. His father, a half-elven noble too involved in politics to spend much time with his mostly human son, is the 8th in line to the throne of the land. His human mother was the second daughter of the king of Ragesia, the marriage having been arranged to maintain peace between the two kingdoms. He never knew her, as she died in childbirth.

He was raised as a son by his maternal aunt, mostly in Ragesia but with frequent visits to Shahalesti. As a child, Davaros did not enjoy going to Shahalesti, his elven-blooded kin were too haughty, and looked down to him for having mostly human blood.

Davaros spent his teenage years mostly in the forests of Ragesia. He was trained by the best mentors money could buy, and became a strong and honorable man.

His greatfather the king was under much pressure these days, with rumors of Shahalesti preparing for war. When he sent word to him to meet an operative named Torrent shortly before midnight in the pub of the Poison Apple Inn, Davaros prepared and headed out; the safety of the kingdom was at stake.[/sblock]

I'd appreciate feedback regarding the history to make sure it's ok.

I don't object to him being related to the rulers, but two things:
Supreme Inquisitor Leska was Emperor Coaltongues adviser, not his daughter. He doesn't have any direct descendants.
The Resistance wants to protect Gate Pass from both Ragesia and Shahalesti. Shining Lord Shaaladel wouldn't have a representative at their meetings (except perhaps as a spy). You're more likely to be expect to oppose Shahalesti agents, if less often than Ragesian ones. He might have been asked to go to Gate Pass by another relative, though--perhaps even the princess.
