IMHO, that's not paranoia: there's a lack of any anti-Mystic agenda so far because not enough time has passed -- the people who might be irritated by a Mystic class haven't yet seen enough repetitive Mystic posts and threads to bore them to tears; or beyond that, to irritate them into a rage that is sufficiently furious for them to develop the desire to wall off all Mystic threads into a subforum ghetto.

Again, this is all IMHO. YMMV. HAND. :)
Mystics = Psionics which has had more than a few editions to collect detractors.......maybe they are more honest or have better manners.

Quite a few threads about Mystics popping up but no complaints in sight about the number of them or asking for no further.......well I suppose if I was the paranoid type I would put that down to a lack of anti Mystic agenda just saying!
I counted 4 about the mystic. 1 is the UA. Another is a build exercise, another is discussing the mystic (which I agree could have been kept in the UA thread) and the last is joking around about the name of the mystic. This is maybe around half as many as the warlord threads that popped up a couple weeks ago.

It's also different in that many of the warlord threads were polls about including the warlord as a class or what do people want in a warlord. With the mystic, we have the class so it cuts down on a number of threads automatically since we don't have to ask if people want one, it's irrelevant, we have one.

So it's alright to have multiple threads about a class that currently exists just not one that currently does not. Sorry myself and several others must of missed that memo.

What non-warlord posts... or do you mean non pro-warlord posts?
I mean all of your posts complaining about how many warlord posts there are.

If fans are going to create numerous instances of them, which I am against and which apparently they are going to do irregardless of what anyone else thinks they should do... better they serve a productive purpose... right? Or did you think in me being against a multitude of unnecessary threads you also thought I was advocating they be made even more useless?
Eh, I find most, thought not all, of the actual homebrew threads or those working towards something concrete as far as the warlord is concerned to be surprisingly small in post count.
I guess I was just thinking that sometimes the approach (spamming the boards) as opposed to the actual thing (warlord) can cause people to react in a negative way as well. I think I've grown more negative towards a warlord class (as opposed to not caring) mainly because of the annoying amount of board space it takes up as well as some of my interactions with the pro-warlord contingent. IJS.
What does this have to do with their being an excessive number of warlord threads concentrated in a small timeframe on the forums?
That's part of the point though. There's a big difference between 10 threads about the same subject over 2 days vs. 10 threads about the same subject over 20 days...
Any links? On the first page I see a single thread about Sorcerers...and it's someone whose creating one asking for advice on a specific build
I also see a single thread about Druids and wildshape synergy with barbarians... I also see a two threads about wizards, one around a homebrew clockwork mage and the other about multiclassing wizard and cleric. As for warlord... I currently count 12 threads about warlords on the front page...

Your literally doing exactly what your complaining about.... 20.78% of the posts in this thread are yours.

If you don't like all the warlord posts, stop posting in warlord threads.
If you want to make warlord threads and lots of warlord posts, stop complaining about how many there are.

You can't have it both ways.

Not what I meant and I can't be bothered explaining it to you.

I didn't say anything about the number of warlord posts (except in so far as the fact that we have multiple threads, many with only a few posts in them...which seems to support the fact that they weren't really necessary)... I talked about multiple threads. If there was one warlord thread with a thousand + posts... it wouldn't bother me at all... If there were 2 with 500 each it still wouldn't bother me but when we get to the point where the exact same thread (not just the idea or the topic but an exact copy of an already created warlord thread) is posted again with a different name...yeah IMO we've reached a point of clutter and low quality/quantity on return for said clutter.

You made this thread. And you did so after there already was already 2 other warlord threads (making this thread 3).
So your still complaining about what you did yourself.

Also, you got your answer. There's plenty demand for a full warlord class.

Probably because trolling is more fun than actual work.
Mystics = Psionics which has had more than a few editions to collect detractors.......maybe they are more honest or have better manners.
Let's not state or imply that (supposed) groups of posters may be trolling, lacking in honesty, or otherwise not debating in good faith, please.

Not trying to argue with mods or anything, but...I've never seen arguing in bad faith get mod action. So, if we can't call it out, even in general terms, and it doesn't seem to be against the rules on any practical level, then what? The price of using enworld is just...quietly putting up with dishonest arguments made in bad faith?

You forgot to add with a goal of shutting down discussion.
