It's possible it's in, I hope it is, but it's shadow hound seemed to get eaten by the hexblade so that is a bad sign.

It was just playtest. Could have been replaced with a new feature. I'm hoping it's in the book as I'm currently playing a shadow sorcerer :)

Some thoughts on the subclasses confirmed with the product announcement page:

The inclusion of the cavalier is not a surprise, but its latest version is a trip-master more than anything, and is not especially horse-themed.

Inquisitive underwhelmed me when it came out (in UA Gothic Characters). The key benefit is an opposed insight check to gain advantage and the ability to SA. It differs from the Swashbuckler, in that it overcomes Disadvantage and still lets you Sneak Attack, whereas the Swash requires you to be alone (not w/in 5' of another).

Horizon Walker is the big surprise for me. This was a prestige class that I loved in 3.5, but the 5e version (in UA Ranger & Rogue) did not impress. One has the ability to detect a planar portal, but not the ability to travel to other planes, nor particularly to deal with other planes better than anyone else. I found it very underwhelming, and I hope it has received a major revision.

You found the Horizon Walker underwhelming? The Horizon Walker can do some seriously wicked things like teleporting around a battle field several times making multiple attacks.

I do agree it should get an ability to planeshift.

Why is Shadow Sorceror on the list, but not stone or water sorceror?

We know Hexblade is in, but why not Celestial Warlock which has also been named.

Why Twilight Druid, but not Sheppard Druid who was updated in the second last UA?

Do you think both Knight and Samuri are going to both be in, when Cavalier has been confirmed?

True, but blinking around a battlefield has nothing to do with horizons, where as plane shifting, getting beyond the limits of what one sees, absolutely is.

Some of the SCAG Subs will be in there too. My guesses is that Storm Sorcerer joins Stone, Sea, and Phoenix to do all four elementalists. Likewise, I think Swashbuckler makes it for a Rogue next to Inquisitive. I also think the remaining two animal totems (elk, tiger) get added to barbarian. Everything else seems rather FR specific, though I guess Undying warlocks could still make the jump. I don't see Arcana domain, Battlerager, Bladesinger, Purple Dragon Knight, Sun Soul and Long Death Monks, or Mastermind making the hop though.

For the SCAG I agree on Swashbuckler, the other three could be 3 Out of Undying Patron (when I first read it my first thought of thr Sorceror-Kings of Darksun), Oath of the Crown, Mastermind, Arcana Cleric, Tempest Sorceror. I don't think Mastermind was popular, and if they included Tempest Cleric along with Favoured Soul, Stone, Water, and Phoenix Sorceror that's 5 sorceror subclasses! My guess Arcana Domain, Oath of the Crown, Undying Patron, and Swashbuckler.
