OOC: No worries, between the word choice and the green blood you had me wondering.
Performance: [roll0] Harfik it trying to do a lot here. He's making no attempt to be quite, he wants his allies to hear that these attackers bleed, that one is hurt, and he doesn't care if they know where he is. He's also letting the other attackers know that one of them is hurt to cast a shadow of doubt. If they are willing to give them information he's willing to let them live (Though he doubts that his allies or enemies are interested at all in talking if they even understand his words)

If possible: I want to forgo my WIS and DEX bonuses to AC for the first arrow that comes at me next round in favor of using deflect missiles again. Rather than getting out of the way I want to hold fast in hopes of catching and returning.

"The dog has caught it's tail. We play this game and you loose. Come to me, tell me how to move on from this place and you live. Think on this while you see your blood, and know that you do not know what my blood looks like."

Sensing a trap Harfik follows the blood trail, moving so that the trail is to his left about 5ft, and stalking his prey.

Tink roars his metalic roar and charges at the apparitions in the mists, aided by Lyllies spell. But the claw swirls some mists without pulling any of ethereal creatures body. The beast roars in frustration and returns back to Thulwar.

Thulwar regains control of the hook horror. Sometimes, it seems alive with that eagerness for the hunt. But then again, it maybe reflects his own inner desires, ones he cannot act upon due to his stature. But his weapon is his mind and his hands, not brawn. He tosses another bomb, but Tinks swirling of the mists leaves him unsure if the acid had any effect on the spirit.

OOC: I'll stop using this roller :( I roll equally good on 3d6 without mods than on d20 with massive mod. And missed the attack before that :(

If it wasn't for his battle trance, the evasive opponents might have Aanzu annoyed. Instead, the dragonborn finds himself enjoying this game of cat-and-mouse, a deep and unsettling chuckle coming from his reptilian mouth.

Although he prefers to get one of the archers up close within reach of his magic sword, and he keeps moving to try and make this happen, Aanzu grabs his two daggers and flings them in rapid succession at the place where he hears the footsteps of the foe in front of him.

OOC: Making a thrown dagger attack. Does that mean I lose the previous melee rolls, or do I still keep those?

Not sure how to determine if I hit the unseen but not unheard opponent. Do I make a perception check? If so: [roll0]

Attack (dagger, thrown): [roll1]
Can't use Reckless Attack (because that only effects melee), so I guess disadvantage: [roll2]
Damage: [roll3]

Extra attack (dagger, thrown): [roll4]
Disadvantage: [roll5]
Damage: [roll6]

LYLLIE

The gnome gets surrounded by the clouds as the dust takes its effect, enveloping the souls, as well as the nearby humanoid shapes. Almost immediately, they begin to glow, contrasting with the vanishing small image of the gnome. The creatures do not seem to realize what has happened until it is too late. This is largely because one of the apparitions, as well as one of the secretive adversaries, are not affected by the glow. All the others, though, are clearly outlined, and no longer pose an unseen threat.

Even though the gnome is concealed, though, a single arrow still flies towards her position, missing her by a hair! the arrow brushes her sleeve, taking a small part of it away, but leaving her unscathed. One of them must have heard her moving...

AS for the spirits, they twist and turn over themselves, as if struck by great terror. They're vanishing, ceasing to exist in this world as they grasp the first tendrils of the ethereal plane. After a few more seconds they'll be beyond reach, but still capable of watching the heroes and, as opportunity presents itself, return to haunt them!

[At the end of the turn the two remaining spirits will have shifted to the ethereal plane, where they can't be attacked. The attacks for this round still count, though!]

THULWAR

The small machine makes an active effort to attack the ghost, but it is all in vain. It spins around, untouched by Tink's claws. The sinuous movements that the spirit makes resemble a hypnotic dance, as if every gesture was part of an ancient ritual, remembered only by the lifeless creatures now.

The metallurgist persists on the attack, but the acid runs through the floor before the soul. The dead priest limits itself to retreat a few steps, a cruel and sardonic smile stamped on its face as it awakens from its confusion! The creature twists around and, instead of leaving the area, it seams to coil upon itself, vanishing slowly to another plane of existence!

In the meantime, arrows are once more spat against the heroes. One of them hits Tink between his body and one of his arachnid legs, getting stuck between the plaques that form him [6 points of damage]. The other one hits Thulwar’s chest, burying itself in his armor and drawing blood from the sage [5 points of damage]

[The spirits can still be targeted, since any plane-shifting actions will only take effect in the end of this turn.]

HARFIK

The monk's warnings are effective, granting all his allies a fair notion of his position, as well as that of his opponent. He even realizes that the trap he prepared worked wonders, since the pacing and position of the faint steps did change entirely. Now the creatures calculate their distance with more care, the sounds betraying fear. As the monk moves, he gets the precise position of his enemy: he spins around a point, as if completing its contours, leaving this precise area between himself and Harfik. A floor trap, no doubt, and he fixates himself around it!

Not a second later, an arrow comes from the stillness surrounding the adversary, missing Harfik by a large margin. He is certain of the archer’s position, now, and the distance between them has become so small he can leap against the creature, if he so chooses!

[Ok, you can use deflect once more by sacrificing your defenses! Still, the creature is within reach, now.]

AANZU
As the draconian prince throws his blades forward, the sound of hurried steps increases, almost at hand. The first blade loses itself, probably failing to reach its target, but the second one is followed by the wet sound of spilled blood and the sudden moan of a mangled warrior. An arrow crosses the mists, oblique as it seeks Aanzu out, but it gets lost in the clouds behind the draconian. A single step, now, and Aanzu can reach his enemy, even though he still can’t manage to see him…

[The rolls can be kept, no problem! Spares us from new ones! Also, a brief explanation: I’ve been calculating the movement for the enemies as they attack, retreat or advance. I’ve also been counting your own amount of ‘steps’ accordingly to your choices – if you use stealth, you’ll go slower; if you choose to move, you’ll use all your movement; and so on. Therefore, if you ‘lock’ on an enemy and he keeps attacking, you’ll eventually reach him – just as is the case right now for Aanzu and Harfik. Still, enemies can only be seen through magical means or once the adjacent space has been reached. As for the determination of the position, I’ve been rolling perception against stealth for all of you, and every step in the right direction means something denounced them – in this case, your perception roll beat the stealth roll for the bruised enemy. Of course, he was penalized accordingly, since he got hit.]

[Ok, your actions! After that, I’ll describe results!]

Icosa swivels to see the now-outlined spirits starting to vanish, and targets whichever of them seems 'hurt,' or fainter...or if there's no telling, than just whichever is closer.

"We should regroup near a wall," he states. "It will give us a quarter we don't have to defend."

Eldritch Blast (w/adv from Faerie Fire)

Harfik continues to close on his foe, intentionally facing the archer with his full body creating a nice, big target, a chance too good for the foolish creature to pass up it seemed. The tell tale sound of a bow string snapping back triggered his instincts and Harfiks hand shot out. The sensation of his fingers closing around the shaft of the arrow was comforting, his gamble payed off and from the speed at which the arrow arrived he knew he was close.

Harfik quickly spun the arrow around and launched it back, not waiting to hear if it found flesh or not he followed behind it as quickly as he could, it was time to end this show and move on to another challenger.

Jumping into the air his foot snaps out like a whip knocking the arm holding the bow to the side slightly before spinning as he lands to thrust his spear where he expects the creatures throat to be knowing all to well the affect that the sound of an ally choking on their own blood can have on someones will to fight.

"I warned you to fight is to die."

OOC:

On another note I've been intentionally not reading the things written for the other players to make sure I don't know fully what is going on. I am reading what they write, just because I find it interesting. Please let me know if with the limited vision Harfik sees anything that I need to go back and read about. If that complicates things more for you and you want me to read and just use my judgement about what Harfik notices let me know and I can do that. I don't want to make things harder on you.

OOC: Tink is LARGE machine, it is only the machinist that is small :)

"Let's group by the miners, no sense in losing them to the spirits after we freed them. And the giantess and the baby might be safer in the group. Aanzu! Harfik! We're regrouping!"

He tosses another acidic flask at the disappearing ghost. Tink flashes another hook through the misty shape, but pulls back before the flask strikes the extended claw. They both retreat toward the miners, metallic beast covering the retreat of its master.
