Staring at the Dracoliche, Lorenn had a second thought. "It was pretty stupid to come here after all, don't you think Terrus?"
Then he looked up while they were flying down the rift and noticed that without Terrus alive, he has little chance to get out of this hole.

The ground was closing fast. Lorenn came back into the heat of the moment and casted mirror image, it will certainly be useful later.

Legend
Terrus & Lorenn

Terrus tucked his wings and he and Lorenn plummeted quickly toward the ground. He judged what he hoped would be a safe distance and spread his wings once more, beating them furiously to slow their fall.

OOC: I'd like Terrus to make a dc16 Athletics check (don't forget his Gauntlets) to stop them 30 feet off the ground, and Lorenn needs to make a dc12 Strength check to hold on. If Terrus makes it and Lorenn fails, Lorenn lets go and takes [roll0] damage from the thirty feet (doubled from the momentum of the previous 270 feet). If Terrus or both of them fail, they both take [roll1] damage from the fall. Terrus did his best.

OOC: Is the StoneFace still inside the field? If so...

"I can't break this magical barries SnorLoska. What can we do?" Zander says looking all about for a switch, lever, or rune.

(If that’s the case, then Terrus would have switched his focus to Bryce Force, giving him adv on Str checks.)

The blast of toxic gas hit Udit head on

con check vs dragon breath : 1D20+3 = [9]+3 = 12

OOC: YEOUCH

Eyes watering, skin burning, Udit knew he could achieve little here. He couldn't see any signs on the alcoves, it was but a guessing game. - time to follow the original plan, and hope for the best. He headed toward the Rift - not knowing there was another simulacrum at the bottom - and started climbing down.

But before he did, he yelled out "TRY ELEMENTAL DAMAGE: FIRE VS WATER, UH, THAT KINDA STUFF"

Before being splattered, Lorenn vanishes in a swirling mist and reappears on the ground, without breaking his stride.

OOC: Ok, ok, it's now RAW, but can he use Misty Step to avoid falling damage? (I demande a trial by combat The Rule of Cool )

Legend
Terrus beat his large wings and stopped his downward momentum. Lorenn timed it perfectly and let go, stepping sideways into a misty dimension of shorter distances and then back out into the material world. He was down on the ground and unharmed but he quickly discovered that he would not stay that way - the ground was thick with mud and skeletons began to rise from it. Many skeletons. What's more, he found the air was thick with a cloying poisonous cloud. He could not breathe and his skin prickled.

OOC: Fine. Misty Step. You both will take [roll0] poison damage at the start of your next turn. Terrus can have resistance if he doesn't need to breathe. (Holding one's breath doesn't entirely work.)
