What are you currently playing?

I am running a game of Space Saga wherein the player characters have been dealing with the aftermath of a crime lord attempting to enslave a community of former military droids in order to seize power, a burgeoning empire of space witches beginning to ramp up for expansion, settle personal grudges with an infamous bounty hunter, and get ahead of the existential tumult caused by a wave of transorganicism.

Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal
Finished up the 13th Age campaign I ran for four and a half years, so right now I'm just playing.

I'm in a serious homebrew custom designed for us, highly narrative post-apocalyptic non-time-linear fantasy using tarot cards as randomizers and not focusing on combat-as-the-main-challenge. (For instance, one character wanted to slaughter everyone at a party. The GM just said yes and then had us narrate out what we thought the longer term effects of the slaughter would be.)

I'm playing in two D&D 5e games, one homebrew world and adventures and one going through Dragon Heist with the idea of continuing with Mad Mage.

I played in a Traveler one-shot that they are now trying to turn into a campaign but I wasn't enamored with the system. (One of the other players is suggesting using WOIN instead which I'm down with.)

I'm very early in running a ship & archipelago based 5e campaign. As in we've had session zero and I'm working on taking the player ideas into the next steps of the game.

We have a D&D 5e Tal'dorei campaign that supposed to start about six months back but RL got in the way. So it's "one of these days".

I'm jonesing for a drama-heavy soap-opera Superhero game and was considering setting it up - but I'm not interested in running it which means finding the right DM.

We're flirting with A Blades in the Dark campaign.

Just wanted to add as I am gearing up for a Call of Cthulhu campaign with several brand new roleplayers I picked up the Chaosium Starter Box and it is really outstanding. Moderately priced and stuffed with quality content.

I started running "season 2" of our Spirit of 77 campaign last Friday evening. So77 is the Powered by the Apocalypse game based on basically all 1970s media, everything from Shaft to The Dukes of Hazard to The Warriors and more.

See, the thing is I was 8 in 1977. So the campaign became based on all the bad TV I watched in the 1970s and 1980s with whatever other references I threw in on a whim.

The final 'episode' of season 1 ended with the good ole' boy truck driver driving the Love Boat -- which was actually a front for the Justified and Ancient Underwater Kingdom of Mu and powered by a giant crystal -- into the pink submarine a group of would-be hijackers -- from F.A.R.C.E -- were using as a base. The previous session had an Evel Knieval-style motorcycle jump across the pool onto the Lido deck as part of liberating the ship. So it ended on a high note.

Problem is, everyone ended up wanting to create new characters. So "Laser Truck Force" was cancelled and a bunch of new shows will take its place: "Fury Gellar", "The Sid and Marty Vicious Show", etc.

I need to re-think the campaign somewhat. The next part's still called "And if California Slides into the Ocean...", tho.

Playing our fortnightly Symbaroum game on Thursdays, we just finished the first campaign book, according to our GM. Love the setting and the story arcs.

Playing D&D 5e weekly on Roll20 in a friend's own setting. Very dark and scary, challenges abound. About 4th level.

Running 5e in Northern Faerun with group of newcomers to hobby on alternate Tuesdays. Has evolved into a devils Vs demons plot that will reach a climax soon. About 3rd level. Light and breezy with narrative touches and a cat based interlude last week. (using John Wick's Cat rules)

Planning a Solo campaign of Cepheus Engine / Traveller...

You have to work the SuperTrain in there somewhere. With California just think of all the detectives and cops your PCs can run into!

What a fun campaign you have cookin'!
