Oh god, hadn’t checked in in a bit, but the thread has turned into the usual Last Jedi thread has it? It’s the Star Wars equivalent of Godwin’s Law. At some point somebody will mention it, and that’s the end of the thread

Also TLJ is a far superior movie to the others in the new trilogy by an order of magnitude.
/s Help! The owner of the site is trolling!

I've been personally holding back from bashing the Last Jedi to avoid further derailing the thread. However, if Snoke's origin is explained in this show, which seems likely to happen, discussing how it's flawed to explain a villain in a spin off TV show is on topic, IMO. If not, I'll stop pressing this tangent.

Black Widow to Disney+?

New Star Wars Trilogy with Taika Waititi?

That long awaited Rian Johnson trilogy everyone wants?

I'm not convinced that Snoke is where they're going with the show. Palpatine doesn't seem like he'd farm out that research to a backwater Moff, and Gideon doesn't seem like the sort to fall in line with Palpatine pulling his strings.

A revival of the Droids cartoon, with the format spruced up by adding Jar Jar Binks to the main cast?

That's just mean.

Had a thought last night.

What kind of villain puts cuffs on a baby. Well apparently Moff Gideon

Esposito's facial expressions were also so good taunting Grogu. Bastard!!. Just want to punch him in the face which means Esposito is doing a great job. BastardX2.

The "baby" status is starting to feel slightly arbitrary. He's one of the oldest characters on the show, and while he can't vocalise, it's clear from his 'conversation' with Ahsoka that he's capable of conceptualising, and conveying, complex concepts and information.

It almost feels like he's regressed to this stage as a result of past trauma rather than this being the extent of his development.

Different species, Yoda was old.

He's not a baby though more a child. Not to different than the Human padawans who encountered Vader.

Yes, by the time of his death, Yoda was somewhere in his 900s. But reading that official timeline I linked to earlier, it has Yoda already training new Jedi around the time he was in his 90s. So if Grogu is in his 50s, he has, by his species' standards, some "quick" maturing and learning and training to do.

Well, that was fun

I reckon he'll be a species which has intermittent growth spurts. We won't have to wait 50 more years for him to start talking; he'll have a magic growth spurt next year or so.
