Watched Carlos Ballarta: False Prophet on Netflix. It was a great special. If you don't understand normal paced Mexican Spanish, I hope you can read subtitles fast.

I really like Tom Segura. He hasn't done a standup special for a while, but the podcast he does with his wife is very funny.

No, I know his back-story I just don't know what is meant by the "boycott list."

There's not really a "boycott list", but there are quite a few popular comedians to whom quite a few people might respond "This person is extremely gross and I don't want to support them" with the occasional dash of "not that they're even funny" with maybe a pinch of "anymore" at the end.

Louis C.K. is basically the poster child of <gesticulates wildly at the above paragraph> all of this.

Everyone has different criteria. Louis is still hilarious and is one of the best stand-ups working today. He’s also an incredibly gross person. Likewise Chappelle. One of the best comics, but gross human. Some people can ignore the gross, some can’t. Everyone’s preferences and lines are different. I know trans people who still love Harry Potter despite JKR being a gross human. It takes all kinds and no one gets to make those decisions for anyone else.

Anyway, back to the actual topic…

I miss George Carlin every single day. One of the funniest and best comedians ever.
