Star Wars: Ahsoka - Official Teaser Trailer

Yeah, and I wouldn't want that. People who want alternate timelines can go watch Star Trek.
Or Marvel movies, which have gone full multiverse, or DC movies which are about to (with the Flash movie, but since that movie involves two Batmans it also seems worth pointing out that they also have both the "the Batman" movies in active production and the so-far-Batmanless "Joker" movies in active production, so they've been big on parallel continuities for a while).

Yeah, as dumb as the process of "de-canonizing" expanded universe works just to replace them with ill-concieved "official works" has been, if the alternative is a bunch of parallel dimensions in my Star Wars I'll take canon fights all day long. Leave the multiverses to every other giant bloated franchise.

Looks like this show might start off before the final scene from Rebels.
I think that is the final scene from Rebels! I suspect the show will take place at two points in the timeline, perhaps via flashbacks. One picking up there, immediately after RotJ, and ending in failure, and one at the current point in the Mandoverse timeline (about 5 years later?)
My best guess based on everything I've seen: Ahsoka finds Sabine, who's been keeping her head down and hiding the fact that she's a Mandalorian for some time. She's grown her hair out, etc.
I don't think it's a case of "hiding", no one cares that much, I think it indicates that Sabine has rejected the Path of the Mandalore as a consequence of her failed adventure with Ahsoka. Seen the publicity still of Sabine contemplating her helmet? The long hair suggests she is no longer wearing the helmet at all, and the helmet signifies the Path of the Mandalore.

It might be she is trying to follow the path of the Jedi. We know she has been training with Ezra's lightsabre. And maybe that's the question the show will ask: Do you need the Force to be a jedi? Maybe our orange sabre dudes are fake jedi who have lightsabres but not the Force?
At first, she is reluctant to get involved,
I suspect they had a falling out, perhaps over Ahsoka's non-jedi status. Kind of "If you won't be a jedi, then I will" [flounces off, artistically]
flies off with Ahsoka to find Ezra and deal to Thrawn.
It seems appropriate that an artist shout oppose the arch-critic!

Orange lightsaber are deflecting blaster bolts.

Rey heard Ahsoka's voice along with a bunch of other dead Jedi in RoS, so it's entirely possible she's meant to die before the start of the sequel trilogy.
I don't see any fundamental reason why Ahsoka would need to be dead to get in on that conference call.

Yes, I think so too.

Maybe. I dunno, though.

I figured she would want to hide her connection to Mandalore after the purge, just like the other Mandalorians.

Seen the publicity still of Sabine contemplating her helmet?
Yes, I have. Great image.

Neither do I. But it's still a possibility.

Hmmn wonder if they're going with Sabine being force sensitive.

Old legends material had Mandalorian Knights but they tended to keep Mandalorians as non force sensitive.

Well we saw that on ESB.
You mean Han using Luke's saber to cut open the tauntaun? We've also seen a whole bunch of non Force sensitive Mandalorians wield the darksaber as well as that jumping alien who stole Ahsoka's saber in the Clone Wars. So no, it's not a new concept. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
