"Biblical Era"? That collection of books covers everything from pre-bronze age civilization to mid-iron age. You need to be a bit more specific.

Unless you're quoting the text verbatim, it's not a copywrite violation. Even then, you're simply quoting a document, which is legal. Rules for games are not copyrightable.(Title 17, Section 102(b) of US copyright law).

Does anyone have any play-tested rules for replacing AC bonuses for regular armor with damage reduction? (or, better yet, armor with damage reduction and just reduced AC bonuses?) Has anyone come across any pitfalls using damage reducing armor?
