    What is the Sundering?

Heh. That sounds an awful lot like a reboot to me.

D&D 5E EN World Interview With Mike Mearls, Lead Designer of D&D Next

With the understanding that it's still very early and things are subject to change, are there any bits you could share about monsters or monster design (though I don't expect monster building rules would be available this early in the process)? Are monster stat blocks as well organized and easy...

    Get Rid of Splatbooks Altogether

Where is the sense in forcing players to buy adventures they won't use (adventures they shouldn't even be reading, no less) just to get new character options? Sure, they might not use all the classes or feats in a normal splat, but at least the option is there. An adventure is just wasted space...

    Elminster's Forgotten Realms

Not a big fan of Ed's novels but his game lore has always been gold. I love the Volo's Guides, for instance. Those were always packed with awesome fluff and tons of adventure hooks. This product will mix well with a beer, a pipe and a fireplace, I reckon.

    People have the strangest deal-breakers

There is a thread over on Big Purple concerning random ability scores that is making me hate humanity. What it seems to boil down to is the pro-random people are totally cool with alternate methods (point buy/arrays) being included, while the anti-random types seem insulted that the devs would...

WotC to Release 1st Edition Premium Core Rulebooks Reprints

I'll be very surprised if these don't fly right off the shelves, assuming they don't print an absurd number of them.

WotC to Release 1st Edition Premium Core Rulebooks Reprints

Despite owning several copies of the originals, I'll certainly buy a set (or two) of these, both to contribute to the memorial and to support the idea of reprinting older material in general. Great move on WotC's part (although limiting them to North America seems questionable).

    Compendium Updated!

They weren't kidding when they said it wouldn't work with Opera. It crashed instantly. edit- I should clarify that it crashed immediately upon trying to run a search. Before that, it sat there and looked pretty. :)

    Dungeon Delve feedback for WotC

Put me down as another supporter of reprints. I'm a recent convert to Dungeon Tiles (I bought 8 sets the week before last) and I'd love to get my hands on a few copies of the first and third sets without paying out the nose for them.

D&D General What (in)famous D&D adventure sites exist in your homebrew?

Most of mine are from the 2E Dungeon days. I'm not sure if anyone will be familiar with these or not. Granite Mountain Prison, though it's been abandoned for years. The wizard tower from (the unfortunately named) Asflag's Unintentional Emporium still stands even though the city around it has...

Which CRPG has the best STORY? (Forked from: Do you not play WoW?)

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue! Best story - I'll agree with Final Fantasy III, followed by Knights of the Old Republic and Final Fantasy 8.
