The VOIDRUNNER'S CODEX is coming! Explore new worlds, fight oppressive empires, fend off fearsome aliens, and wield deadly psionics with this comprehensive boxed set expansion for 5E and A5E!
Chaosium and Arc Dream Publishing cleaned up last night. I may have to give in and pick up Delta Green now, lol.
Strong OSR presence on stage last night but WOTC was a no show for picking up publisher of the year award...that seemed a bit awkward when they didn't even send an intern.
It's going to be year of the cities. Between this and the DCC treatment of Lankhmar there's going to be a lot of urban adventure in my immediate future. I'm curious what they did for random tables given the mention of the old city system boxed set being an inspiration. I'll keep my copy of...

looks like Goodman Games is going to jump into this. I'm curious about the pricing but this seems more geared towards print products rather than tchotchkes so I'm willing to look when they launch.
Blood in the Chocolate and Veins of the Earth are both incredible books! Not only are they well written (Veins has some deep (no pun intended) portions that will provoke thought) but beautifully laid out and constructed. Best purchases of Gen Con.
I was surprised to see Paizo sell through their Starfinder stock during the show. The pop up store experiment they ran by the Sagamore Ballroom helped them by having 2 areas (one right by the game space) to sell from. One of the GMs I spoke to said that they were surprised by the rate of sales...
Great write ups! Interesting to see bits and pieces of both DCC and Vornheim peaking through the narrative. Not sure how far you've gone with the Granary Cats but it's making me think of Jim Butcher's cats in The Aeronaut's Windlass and how they help protect the city and how to work something...
If you make it through the madness (DC 23) surrounding Orcus you have to deal with his decorator. Piles of bodies (whole, skeletal, in between) of all sorts in the chamber and lining the walls on the way there to make it feel a bit more homey. Who's controlling access to the chamber? It's not...
While the dealer hall was especially cramped Thursday - Saturday my final run on Sunday didn't seem to be nearly as busy (immediately after it opened at 10AM). Demos were in full swing the entire time (picked up a couple of new items after getting to play them) and I think I got more demo time...
Because if you were giving away free money ($100) someone would complain that you didn't give it to them in their preferred denomination ("why does it have to be a single $100 bill?")
:)
I'm happy with the release schedule as it is. Flooding the market with "new" material hasn't helped the last 3 editions of the game. I'm more interested in seeing what the OGL looks like so that we can get our fix of one shots and campaign settings from third party publishers.
As far as any...
No reason why it couldn't. There's enough unexplored space Karameikos to make it work. If you're using the boxed set (2nd Edition AD&D?) version of the setting you'll have plenty to work with. I don't have a copy of the GAZ version but I'm sure it would work out fine if that's what you're...
Great news for those who don't have a copy or just want to preserve their physical copy. Hopefully this opens the door for more Planescape books to flesh out Sigil and the planes.
