If wights transform their victims (slain with energy drain) into wights, then why isn't there a template? i.e. like vampires.
If you've got some musclebound 20th-lvl fighter who changes into a wight, he immediately becomes a wimp...
So how does a jump of 20 feet across and 8 feet high work? Is that two checks (one at DC 20 and the other at DC 32)? Or just the more difficult check? Or something else?
I think it also depends on how much sundering goes on in your campaign. If it's rare, then I'd rule the item is destroyed. If it's common, I'd have a way to get it repaired.
I don't think the rules cover this situation in any depth so it's really up to you to decide how you want to play it out...
AFAIK, a weapon that has been reduced to 0 hp is destroyed and cannot be repaired. But so long as it has 1 hp remaining, it can be repaired through the means you've listed.
Let's say a wizard casts persistent image and creates an image of a parked wagon. Is there a way to get a save simply by looking at the wagon? I mean, its not like a person or creature who must constantly be doing something to appear real - it's a wagon.
