How does an artificer do this? Form reading the text it looks as though it would take alot of charges of the wand to pull this off unless you spend several rounds buffing your wand with Metamagic Item.

I have heard that Artificers are unbalanced or overpowered but from looking at the class I just dont see how they are? Can anyone shed some light upon this class for me?

Well doesnt a cure spell deal positive energy damage? Positive energy heals living creatures and harms undead creatures or am I missing something?

Well then how about allowring a cleric/rogue to sneak attack with a heal. Anyone can heal from a cure spell so the rage part doesnt play into this scenario. Would you a cure light wounds spell to heal 1d8 + 5d6 positive energy sneak attack damage?

In one of the games Im currently playing in, we have a mage who likes to use polymorph. Im wondering what the rules for items changing shape are? Can a breastplate concievably turn into barding for an animal? Or how about rings turning in braclets for horses or wearing a necklace around a brach...

Thanks for all the help guys. I completly forgot about the BoVD. Ill take a look at it. Master of shrouds is awesome btw but requiring a will save of +5 makes this classes only reachable when you are lvl 6 but the skill reqs require you to be lvl 5. Is this an oversight or intended this way?

So ARE there any free actions that do provide AoO? Off the top of my head I cant see any although I have noticed that all free actions do have the clause "does not cause an AoO" or something similar.
