    Chill Oak Forest

You've got some interesting ideas here. I haven't gone over the stat blocks with a fine toothed comb, but at a glance I see some major errors regarding type. While you introduced this batch of critters as undead, none of them seem to have the undead type; you've got most of them typed as fey...

I'll post some more probably after the holiday. Thank you for your interest! Cheers! SD

    WoW Monsters

You done some really good work here. Though I haven't gone over the stats with a fine toothed comb, on their face they seem tight. The descriptive text and such is very well written, better then some I've seen in published work. Well done! Cheers! SD

    A Couple New Demons

Another good catch here. I was thinking 3E (as opposed to 3.5E) rules here--that is, 1 size category larger than wielder = two-handed weapon. Subtle but important difference, for sure. I'll correct the damge and reach too.

    A Couple New Demons

Very good catch with the AC. Frankly, when I originally started writing this particular monster, I had a lower CR in mind, but by the time I was done with his stats, CR 19 seemed appropriate. You're right, AC 28 is not high enough. As far as the IUS, it is totally unnecessary. It was...

    A Couple New Demons

My plan is to have the book ready to publish by summer. Initially it will be published as a PDF, but if it is received well, I intend to make it available in print. I will of course be sending out copies of the PDF for play-testing/reviewing, so if you're interested, I'll make sure to get one...

    A Couple New Demons

I totally understand your point here. However, as a CR 19 monster, I don't expect DMs to throw a Sorgoth at a party as a random encounter. Confronting one of these fiends would be a major event, perhaps the climax of lengthy and involved adventure. Considering this, spending an hour or so...

At glance, it looks like you've done a top notch job with the conversions. Well done!

    A Couple New Demons

Hey Folks: My name is Steve Davis, and this is my first post here at EN. I was an avid AD&D player many years ago, back in the 1st and 2nd Edition days. My library of DnD books and such has been packed away for roughly 15 years. A couple months ago I pulled them out of storage--for no...
