Send In The Clowns… (or, Converting the Oddballs)

Looks good. Do we want to include the repair damage spells? Also, how about the cold immunity. That way spellcasters with orb of cold don't get to hurt a plush golem with it.

Hmmm, I'd go with the Rattelyr's progression. The Pink gets spells (not many, but some) right from 1st level, it can fly (where the Rattelyr cannot, and flight is a big advantage, especially at low levels). I think those compensate for the HD difference at the lower ages.

    Creating new dragons!

I think its just the sample dragons that are in the new format.

Looks good. He still has lots of feats left. I was thinking Power Attack, Ability Focus (Paralytic Slime), Corrupt Summons (for the Eels), Swim-By Attack, Improved Bull Rush. I was also going to add Epic Toughness, Epic Prowess, and Fast Healing (x3). That still means I need 4 feats...

No, not really. Dragons have always been speedy fliers. We could always knock their speed down a bit, Say 80 to 130 (Just knock 20 feet off the 100-150 progression).

Send In The Clowns… (or, Converting the Oddballs)

I'm a traditionalist, go with Immunity to Magic and note that Fire spells work normally on it. I would Also give it Immunity to cold, as not all cold spells allow saves.

So, what still have we for da Pinky?? Hide, Move Silently and Sense Motive as class skills?

Now the fun parts. It's got the hit points, but not the lethality. I would make the CR something like 2 or possibly 3.

Looks good, Spell Resistance? It says standard, should we use Brass (same as the mental stats?).

Send In The Clowns… (or, Converting the Oddballs)

For damage, in second edition they went with a small amount. I want to increase it, but make it nonlethal. 1d6+2 nonlethal damage sound good?

Yeah, except for the Purple, the mental stats are all within 1 point of each other, so use the Brass Dragon's mental stats. Black Dragon Strength is cool, and Dex 10. Constitution? Should we go with Black here too?

Send In The Clowns… (or, Converting the Oddballs)

We could. I just added that last part for humor value. It could have been programmed in the golem as well, by the previously mentioned obnoxious aunts and uncles. But a protect the children (anyone 12 and under) may be the golems primary orders. I'm not sure if berserk would be aprropriate...

    Converting True Dragons

1d4 rounds/age is good. Maybe we can them linger for 1 round/age category, that way the max is the current max (12). Breath Weapon (Su): A pink dragon has one breath weapon, a cone of pink bubbles composed of irritants. Any living creature with eyes caught in the cone, must make a Reflex save...

Send In The Clowns… (or, Converting the Oddballs)

Looks good, let me take a crack at altering that... Alternate Form (Su): A plush golem can assume the form of any Tiny plush doll, usually a much smaller version of itslef. Reverting to its true form is a free action. This ability helps the plush golem be loved and carried by its children...

    Converting True Dragons

Looks great! Breath Weapon (Su): A pink dragon has one breath weapon, a cone of pink bubbles composed of irritants. Any living creature with eyes caught in the cone, must make a Reflex save or be blinded and sickened for 4d4 rounds. Due to the nature of the bubbles, even those that make their...

Calvin and Hobbs. Maybe it has a growth ability like the Spriggan. Alternately a shrink ability or "passive state" I think we may want to deviate from the 2nd-Edition stats a bit. They do seem a bit bland to me. This one may have to be restructured a bit. On to the basics though. Medium...

No, not really. I'd go Age+Cha.
