Okay, a question: If I have a character that wants to be proficient with a Katana, should I take Exotic Weapon Prociency (Bastard Sword) and just call it a Katana as the DMG suggests, or should I take Exotic Weapon Profiency (Katana) specifically, i.e. a katana is a weapon with the same stats as a bastard sword, but with different proficiency?

I have a thing for curved swords you see. And Scimitars and Falchions just don't cut it, and normal D&D bastard swords aren't pretty IMHO... :p
Just don't take Exotic Weapon (Katara), as that would be frowned uppon

They make good Bards, obviously, but also good Sorcerers, Wizards, Rogues, Rangers, and perhaps even Paladins (A lightly armored Paladin, but a Paladin none the less). Not that any other class is bad, but those are clases that they have strengths that they play well too. Being fairly inquisitive, a class that allows them to explore or experiment with things is a good fit (Like most of those mentioned), and given their facination with other cultures, there's no reason they couldn't worship just about any god as a cleric or in general.

I want to do something special, so what DIDN'T you mention... Druid, gotta love them crazy druids. (In this form I'm a man-cat, In this form I'm a cat-man, here I'm an elemental cat, and here I'm a giant cat THAT CAN CAST EARTHQUAKE, MWAHAHAHA)

What are you crazy, you should be able to take EWP(any small race)-We call that the fast ball special in TN

ALSO! I ask you Bront since you are the tavern coordinator, What would happen if a gnoll walked into the bar
(Other than a massive headache...two beats on a drum and a crash of the cymbols)

Well, other than Gort watching him closely, probably not much. If he caused trouble, Gort's all over him (Gort can probably outwrestle a 1st level gnoll, fairly easily). And if needed, Joe will join in, as will probably several patrons. However, Joe and Gort are very good at sense motive, so baring him looking to start trouble immediately, shouldn't be a problem.

My newest adventure proposal was sent out yesterday. If anyone whos is supposed to recieve such things did not, please let me know! The adventure's name is "A Clash of Earth and Sea."

I sent a reply; it bounced from your address. In brief; I approved it, but can the rest of us contact you at the email address from which you sent it?

Odd! Not sure why it would have bounced. An alternate email for me is spatlin@adelphia.net if you continue to have problems replying to the address from which I sent it, please try that one.
