Scion, the other two have logged in.

It's EnWorld - Barrow of the Forgotten King. Password is: abc123

Should be in the server list.

Make sure you've downloaded version b56! The link should be in the 2nd page of this thread.

Hey guys, here are some tips and tricks on how to get used to Maptool.

Check out the image file attached below. That way is a good way to setup your Maptool as a player. You have the initiative window on the left, chat window on the bottom, selection macros right next to it, and and the impersonate button next to the selection. As a player that's really all you need.

In order to see your macros, you need to have your token selected (just single-click).

Here are some chat commands:
/ooc - Speak out of character
/whisper [connection name] - whisper to someone (without the brackets)
/reply - reply back to the person who last whispered to you
/emote [some action/emotion] - will emote an action. No need to include your name, just type in an action or expression (without the brackets).

Most of the time, you won't have to manually roll dice. However, just in case you do, here is how to roll dice in the chat window. You just encase the die within brackets []. For example:

[d20] - will roll a d20 sided-die.
[2d8] - will roll 2d8.

You can write something before or after the roll. For example:

I affect [2d8] HD of creatures

I'll post some more things as they come up. Again, if you haven't already done so, check out the Maptool tutorials if you have time. If not, that's ok, you can learn as we play through.

Our next game will be on the 23rd. I thought you guys did some great roleplaying in that short session. Next time, we'll get around 3 hours. I believe we did 2. The more we get used to the software the more game time we'll be able to get in. I'm running a 4e game with another group and we run through about 3-4 encounters per session since we're all familiar with how to use the program.
