Roithe ignores most of the prattle let on by the adventurers, except for the bit about the way orcs bleed. He was'nt genrally parcial to killing anything, he's just glad it's something that only has to be killed once, and with a sence of honor, but most of all fear. These words grabbing his attention turned it towards the scribbled runes on the parchment they had been fussing over.

Roithe walks at the plans slowly and examines them very carefully. Knowing the battle plans of an orc, there is guaranteed to be a map on it considering they can only look at something so long befor they want to eat it or punch the damn thing, let alone read anything. Roithe is very appreciative of maps, he's a man that loves to be in the right place at the right time for the quickest kill. When everyone finishes looking at the plans, Roithe approaches the party and simply reaches his hand out towards the map, with an expressionless face.

With the ritual complete, the adventurer's now have an idea as to what the orcs ' plans might be. However, as far as anyone can tell, they have seen no orcs up to this point! What might the adventurer's encounter farther down into the depths?

Roithe shares his information gleaned from the maps on the table with as little verbiage as possible, approaching the group carefully and extending a finger toward the plans. He notices nothing special on the daggers he found during his research. Looking at Rashka and Mia intently, he suddenly feels a cold flash of magic on his skin and turns.

Stick and Caden were both vying for the chest. Noticing that the treasure chest looks trapped, Caden quickly tries to disarm it before Stick can move to open the chest. But, in his hurry, he fails to disarm the lock and the trap springs! A cold blast envelops the two adventurers as they feel their skin freeze from the biting cold. Once the air has cleared, they find the chest open to reveal the spoils of their search!

[sblock=Chest Trap and Contents]

Once the two have brushed off the remaining icicles and collected the treasure, the group feels that the room has been fully explored and that there is no longer any treasure or other interesting information to be learned.

This room is finally complete! The room is worth 1000 xp total (200 xp each character). Here are my rules for loot:

If someone would like to equip it, please update your character sheet accordingly with the item and then re-send me the PDF version so I can keep track of the changes. The party can use the OOC thread to decide who gets it (or the IC thread if they choose to banter over it!). If no one decides to keep the item and the item is not wanted for later, the group can choose to "sell" the item automatically. It will no longer be an item that the party can access but they will get the cash for it listed next to the item description. The party can then divide the money the way they see fit.

On with the adventure in the usual fashion! [/sblock]

In the distraction, Roithe takes the plans, along with the map, assuming everyone was done with it. Having a map, pointing out where the enemy and high priority targets for that matter, is always useful in case the adventurers happen to fail to prevent the battle and get caught in the thick of it.

"Alive?" barks Mialucus with a predatory grin. He too doesn't look all that worried: for one, they're still moving!

[Insert loot dividing here]

That settled, the masked elf flips his scimitar in his hand as he slips out of the room and into the corridor: "Next!"

[Sblock=Actions]Look back South as he enters the corridor. If everything is the same, then move to D22 and peer around the corner please.[/sblock]

Once Rashka had gained some sort of control over his spasms of laughter, Caden brushed himself off and gave his compatriot a sly look. They had claimed the first spoils of this dungeon! Hopefully anything else that was in front of them would be even more valuable and slightly less...cold. Roithe makes no other apparent motion other than to stuff some of the more valuable plans in his pack.

Mialucus moves to the edge of the first long hallway and peaks around the corner. The blue vein that ran along the ceiling is now fully lit to the first corridor, angling away to the right. Caden moves nearly silently (still kicking up some rocks, however) along the hallway and stops at the first corridor. The smell of blood once again tickles his nose as he follows the blue vein. Through the 10 foot wide entranceway he can see the corridor is barely lit by a few small torches and extends down about 20 feet. Then, the blue vein along the ceiling seems to curve out of view to the left. The rogue can hear or see nothing else.

Caden and Mia's position are shown on the revealed map above. Everyone else is still assumed to be in the room marked 1 (the room where the treasure was). Roithe, Stick, and Rashka can now post their actions.

Regarding loot, please respond in the OOC thread if you want a piece of loot, or if you'd rather sell it. Right now I'm assuming that Roithe will probably get the Feyleaf Sandals, if anyone else wants the Circlet of In. please speak up. On with the dungeon crawl!
