I dunno if the Mummy Lord is big and bad enough to warrant an Epic version, but the one in the book is rather wimpy, could certainly use some beefing up.

I agree it needs to be beefed up, but it is not really an Epic Threat. It is a good candidate for my Hardcore Monsters series: 5e Hardcore Monsters

It has no defenses against flying opponents using ranged weapons?

Good catch. I had thought about giving it a "Chitinous Exoskeleton" trait to mitigate ranged attacks, but honestly forgot about it during the process of making the stat block. Now I think I want to save that for the beetle and/or scorpion. The centipede does have a burrowing speed which is a good option against ranged attackers. I will likely review / edit all the devastation vermin when they are done and make some tweaks. Not sure I will change anything with the centipede, but maybe.

After I finish the Epic Monster 1st drafts I plan work on the Epic Characters thread, but I think I get back to the hardcore monsters at that time too. So I'm looking at late June maybe?

Does the spider regain hit points no matter if the target dies from its bite or not?

Edit: And I feel that the davastation vermin lacks defenses against flying opponents. It might take a while to go through the Decastation Swarm's 10,000 hp for example, but it can't really do anything about except burrowing underground. At CR57, I see this as a major flaw.
