D&D 5E 5e Monster Conversions

Demon Lord
I want to play the old B/X modules, but using 5e rules. I'm starting with the B series. Here are a few monsters that I've found so far that have not been included in the 5E Monster Manual.

B4 Module

• Killer Bees
• Giant Lizard: Gecko
• Cave Locust
• Ferret, Giant
• Gnome
• Giant Lizard: Draco
• Snake: Pit Viper
• Oil Beetles
• White Apes
• Giant Shrews
• Rock Baboons
• Snake: Spitting Cobra
• Polymar
• Snake: Rock Pythons
• Iron Statues
• Werefoxes
• Beetle, Giant: Tiger Beetle
• Driver Ant
• Giant Lizard: Tuatara
• Thoul

Some of these, you can probably just reskin what's in the 5e MM and use as is. Like for example:

* White Ape = use Ape (MM 317) and just say its fur is white (Both the Ape and the D&D White Ape attack with fists and rocks)
* Rock Python = use Giant Constrictor Snake (MM 324); same premise. Giant snake that squeezes. The Rock Python didn't have any other special abilities
* Polymar = possibly use the Mimic (since I believe it's generally the same thing, but I think the polymar could also assume humanoid shape)

Here's some more. Note, I haven't playtested most of these. Just whipped them up on my site and on Homebrewery...

Homebrewery seems to be a great site indeed, There doesn't seem to be an overview for already converted monsters. Everyone has to invent the wheel all by himself so to speak.
