I knew Danny would be a land mine of material.

Audacity is free. It could be used to record and mix tracks fairly readily.

Or cheat and play Smeagolian Rhapsody on Rockband for the backing tracks and overdub the vocals while the game keeps the original singer silent.

Why isn't this on the news page?

We - as in myself and the guys I play music with - would (99% certainly) be in.

We don't have the technology/know-how/etc. to do videos though; you'd be stuck with audio only.

Over time we've done various original songs about the game and characters/events therein, and I've also done a bunch of rewordings a la what [MENTION=19675]Dannyalcatraz[/MENTION] has done above.

A selection of our stuff is at FOG music but the game-related ones aren't really our best.

As an example, here's lyrics to an original one from a long time ago, not on the site - the theme song for my namesake character here:
