[sblock=OOC]I'm full of points. Since an AoO occurs before the action that provokes it, I think the dog still takes a -4 penalty to AC for being prone, so Tarag does hit. If Keldar's meagre 1 point of sneak attack applies (are you still balancing while prone in grease? It does seem that it would be more tricky to avoid blows than if you were prone on a normal surface), then the dog - if it has a standard 13 HP - is at exactly 0 HP when it gets to make its attack.[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC: ]Since he's prone in the grease as a result of failed reflex save, I think it's fair to say he can be sneak attacked. And this dog does not have standard riding dog HP.[/sblock]

The Scourer's mount attempts to rise up from the grease. Keldar slides something sharp into its throat, and Tarag thwacks it solidly on the head. It lolls about for just a moment before it collapses again, bleeding slowly from the wound in its neck.

"Think you can handle these by yourself?" Keldar asks Tarag, indicating the unconscious dog and the stunned, blind, weaponless halfling. "I'm going after the archers."

"Arrows bounce... That's a good idea," Tommy mutters. He touches Keldar's shoulder and, with a word, releases magical energy into a glowing sphere that surrounds Keldar for a moment, then fades to invisibility. "Now they will bounce, for a little while at least." Then he prudently steps back under the shelter of the balcony.

Fimble too steps out of harm's way.

With a clatter Keldar's weapons drop to the ground as he turns, takes a few steps, and leaps for the balcony, just catching it with his fingertips. He struggles for a moment to pull himself over the top, but doesn't quite make it. He hangs there, looking slightly foolish.[sblock=OOC]Fimble to B2, draw and load crossbow. Keldar moves to C2. If the balcony is 10 feet off the ground and Keldar, as a medium creature, has an 8 foot reach, then he needs to make a 2 foot standing jump without a runup, which is DC 16 - 1d20+10=16 and just makes it. Move action and climb check to haul himself over 1d20+2=9, a failure. Using a skill that takes an action, like this Climb check, generally provokes an AoO, though I hope prone archers are unable to take one. He's now hanging in C2, which I suppose means he's now deprived of Dex bonus, AC 12, and sneak attackable.[/sblock]

Round 3

Fimble backs up and draws his weapon.

Keldar makes his leap, but doesn't pull himself up over the edge. For a brief moment, he can see the archers. The first one is just now tossing aside a potion. He looks to be completely recovered from his wound. Thankfully, none of the archers have daggers drawn, so they can't stab at Keldar.

Now the archers do take a pot shot at poor Keldar. From their position, they couldn't see Tommy's spell being cast.

The blaggard, tossing his potion aside hastily, gets to his feet and misses Keldar completely, even in his precarious position.

The woman stands and practically shoots herself in the foot as Keldar climbs.

The only one who is actually able to take advantage of Keldar's lack of mobility is the half-orc bum in the middle, right next to Keldar. He stands up and takes careful aim. Grinning cruelly, he stares Keldar right in the eyes as he takes his deadly shot, the arrow flying straight for Keldar's unblemished face.

The half-orc's surprise is evident when the arrow shatters into pieces as Tommy's shield repels it. A few splinters still catch the dangling Keldar, but the damage is nowhere near as bad as it would have been. (6 + 6 SA -10 = 2 damage to Keldar.)

Tarag...

The dog moans as it comes out of unconsciousness. (Now conscious, but still stunned/blinded.)

The man blinks rapidly and becomes aware of his surroundings again. (No longer stunned, no longer blinded after this point.)
