A Sojourn in Sairundan Part 2 [Judge: Manzanita]

[sblock=L & S: ]Round 3:
Lasair, still deep within the crowd, jostles her way past the densely packed Sairundani. (Moved 30'. Lasair is now 30' from the edge of the crowd and ??' from the man.)
Shadya again slides past people and escapes the crowd. She works her way through the stragglers at the edges towards the sidestreet that the man went down. (Tumbled 30', moved 30'. Shadya is now 30' beyond the edge of the crowd and ??' from the man.)
Meliana, though she can no longer detect the man, follows him down the sidestreet. Suddenly she sees him, he has ducked into an alley and is right next to her. (Ran 85'. Meliana is now right next to the man.)
The man puts his back against the wall and pants, catching his breath. He looks like he's just stopping for a brief moment, though. He'll move again soon. He hasn't noticed Meliana.
Round 4:
Lasair finally breaks free of the worst part of the crowd.
Shadya bolts forward, to the broad sidestreet. She can't see the man, but she does see Meliana who has stopped. Shadya goes to meet her and notices the man, taking a breather in the alley next to her. The alley, unlike many alleys in Helatia, is mostly straight. (Ran 80', next to Meliana.)
Meliana... (Action?)[/sblock]
[sblock=KC&C]Kurgahz creeps down the alley, listening carefully but having trouble making things out. He doesn't notice anything out of place.
Cludge follows behind him. He notices a pile of rags behind a stair. Just to be sure, he gives it a poke with Martha, and then suddenly the pile explodes outwards and an ugly orc in a cloak is standing there, his eyes bugged out. The orc babbles something incoherent but doesn't do anything but scream.
[sblock=Orcish: ]Uh... whatever the orc just said wasn't orcish. It was essentially nonsensical orc words strung together.[/sblock]
OOC: Make a modified level check (1d20 + character level + Wisdom bonus [if any] + modifiers on saves against fear) against DC 4 or be shaken for 1 round.
The two men who chased him here jump in surprise, but don't look frightened at all. One shouts, "ORCS!"[/sblock]

[SBLOCK=L&S]*Meliana, if possible and if there is such an article of clothing, will try to tuck herself into a pants pocket or something, climbing mostly on the wall (since the man is braced on the wall with his back) and then slipping in.*[/SBLOCK]

OOC to KCC: Phoenix? Busy?
[sblock=LS: ]Meliana climbs up the wall and slips into the man's coat pocket. He jumps up suddenly, noticing the sudden change in weight in his pocket and the Sairundani girl shouting at him. He reaches inside and grabs Meliana, gives her a confused look, then drops her and bolts down the thin, winding alley as fast as he can. (60' move, provokes no AoO from Shadya as he is withdrawing)
OOC: The alley is too windy to run in.
OOC2: To clarify, the man didn't actually spend a move action to pull Meliana from his pocket. She failed the sleight of hand check, and so never technically made it in, I just wanted to make it sound more interesting.[/sblock]
