I'll need some time with the map for what is coming up next (prolly Sat), but I can set the scene now.[/sblock]Vimak attempts one last push against the rock. It hold still... and then breaks on its own.

Purple light illuminates everything, especially the dog. With a sicking whine, it is enveloped by the light. It bulges and pulses, growing in size, twisting a mutating by the alien power. Soon, it is a vile mast of pustules and tentacles, It wobbles a bit before focusing its menace on the gathered.

The Stone Breaks

As the Once-Dog-Thing hovers in the air, it lets out a mental shriek with causes the room to shake! Tentacles of puss and foulness burst from the nearby pools of goo, slashing about with malicious intent. The Once-Dog-Thing is now near the cavern roof, a sickly purple glow shielding it from that below.

The fat sorceress replies, making her way to two of the tentacles near her. Taking a deep breath, she sparys a blast of fire onto them, her skin glowing red hot from the magic

OOC: Moving up to J14, using burning spray on T2 and T4. 1d20+5=20, 1d20+5=8 20 Vs Ref on T2 and 8 Vs Ref on T4. I'm guessing only one of those hits 1d8+8=14 T2 takes 14 fire damage. Also the next person who attacks me with a melee weapon takes 4 fire damage.

As he moves it, two of the tentacles slap at him; the goliath ducks under the closer, but the farther wraps around him, holding him almost breathless. As he stumbles to a stop, his prayer is disrupted.

[Tentacles have threatening reach: T4, T2 attack. T2 misses, T4 hits for 10 damage and Vimak is grabbed. Vimak's attack vs T2 misses.

"Damn it all!" Torqua cries out loud at the sight of the tentacles. They had been so close. "Let's concentrate on tentacles closest to us first, Vimak!" The fat sorceress replies, making her way to two of the tentacles near her. The nearest tentacle strikes out, and with plenty to grab onto, hold her fast. Attempting to breathe, Torqua sprays a blast of fire onto them, her skin glowing red hot from the magic. The fire singes the tentacle grasping her.

[T2 makes OA; hits for 15 and Torqua grabbed. T2 hit.]

A stunned Elkrysn manages only a weak spell that the tentacled menace ignores.

[Chaos bolt misses]

The tentacles grabbing Torqua squeeze and pull her forward. Behind her, the tentacles lift the goliath and throw him bodily at the Northron woman. Vimak hits hard, striking Johanna's weapon and knocking them both to the ground. Another mass snakes towards the bullywug, wrapping fast around her. The others flail helplessly.

[Torqua pulled and takes 5 damage from grab (her power does not kick as its auto-damage, no attack roll); Torqua bloodied. T4 throws Vimak and Johanna: Crits Vimak and hits Johanna, 14 to Vimak, 12 to Johanna, and both prone (Vimak bloodied). T3 hits Sapo for 17, grabbed. Others have no target.].

OOC: Everyone up. If someone can suggest actions for Sapo and Lhavarr, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise, they'll use at-wills.
