Katherine finishes up her exortation on an up note (effects will last for 5 more rounds, I believe) and shouts "Ricardo, to me!" while firing another bolt at the pirates.
ao'Thuir moves threateningly towards those who dropped their weapons, waiting for a moment to hear what his captain would like them to do. He remains ready for any tricks they or any other pirates might pull. His rage still seeths but he keeps it under tight control for the moment.
OOC: Pyrex checks Remi's character sheet. Pyrex smacks himself in the forehead. Doh! You're right. I do. I'll have to use that next time. Oh well, we got 'em anyway.
Remi lowers his bow & keeps an eye on the surrendering pirates, waiting for further orders from the captain.
Katherine stands fully and expends one wand charge on Ricardo, if she believes them to be sincere. "Drop all your weapons and come across. If there are others on the ship tell us now or your lives are forfiet for your bad faith..." She calls to the men in the rigging "Hold your positions." And asks the (at least slightly) recovered Ricardo to bind the surrenders to the Gazelle's main mast until their faith can be verified. She then heals any of the others who were hurt (remind me to find a way to strap the wand to her left forearm so she can use it without disarming herself) and takes Hollander, Zumar and Ao'Thuir with her to search the ship (asking Remi to watch from a good vantage point for anyone trying to escape or any treachery.)
OOC:
obviously she's open to suggestions
She will cast light to aid the first sweep of the ship for holdouts, then if things are secure do a second sweep with detect magic active...
If the surrendering pirates are sincere, she will add them to the Gazelle's orders and invite them to a nice long gather info intensive dinner.
Ricardo nods, and gathers up the ropes from the grappling hooks the pirates used; he cuts the hooks off the ends, and uses them to bind the non-resisting pirates to the main mast.

The pirate ship is slightly larger than the gazelle. Belowdecks there are six cannons, three to a side, though each has a large crack running across its surface. In the remains of the captain's quarters, there is a large collection of maps and logs. Aside from those, however, the ship is similar in contents to the Gazelle, though it is laid out slightly differently. The overall condition of the ship seems to be suffering, as well - it seems that it hasn't been fully kept up for some time.
There are no holdouts that you can find. However, detect magic reveals a faint amount of enchantment and transmutation magic in the pirates' weaponry - not the daggers, but the hand crossbow-like devices.
Hallandor -
Guessing that you're using detect evil when searching the ship, the pirates' weaponry give off a faint amount of evil.
