Rujah braced himself for the dragon's strike as he realized it was coming, but when it landed, it barely touched it. It was as if some phantom force had prevented the dragon from striking him. Between this and Riardon's encouragement, Rujah raised his hammer once more. Neither blow could penetrate the dragon's scaly hide to damage the flesh beneath, however.

The dragon flies into a rage, and with lightning-quick speed, clamps her jaws down on one of the kobolds, severing its head from its neck. Snaking her head around she roars, bloody fangs, sending another of the reptilian soldiers scrambling down the chimney, taken by a moment of fear.


The others take advantage of the situation, striking deep at the dragon and binding its talons further to the rock.


The channeler, well meaning though ill-skilled, attempts to subdue the wyrm, but miscalculates the range of his attack. Thus, instead, he only manages to hamstring his allies. Shocked by his mistake, he retreats to a rock at a safe distance.


“Wux hofiba! Wux geou svent udoka shio!” Shout's one of the kobolds, convulsing as the electric arc makes its way through his body.

Mervin continues to move his orb away from his companions and toward the greatest threat. A large lick of flame juts toward the dragon forcefully, but the great beast never even notices.
