MOVE: Ryk stands; Spring hops down to C7.
MINOR: sheathe tangat.

OOC: Shouldn't Bellegons aura be 2? W2 is defeated. The reasoning being as follows: if he's still in the encounter he's still under hte curse. If I attack with cursebite, everyone under my curse will be affected which could be reason for disqualification for attacking surrendered opponent. On the other hand, if he's not under the curse he's either dead/defeated or 5 minutes passed.

Will his surrender prevent Bellegon from using cursebite? Or is he out of fight and I can choose NOT to target him?

[sblock=OOC]Just checked the rules. Warlock Curse does end when the target is defeated (as it has been), so I'll update that. However, Dark Spiral only kicks in when they drop to 0 hp or fewer; after all, your dark masters want your enemy's soul, not their surrender.[/sblock]

Rikka gave a hissing growl, a mix of anger and frustration, then shifted back into her elven form. She raised her totem and gestured towards the mage, attempting to use the primal power of the air to sweep him off of his perch. Once more the strong winds of Sharn's manifest zone answered her call, buffeting the mage with a chilly gust... Then Rikka stepped farther back, to avoid clustering with her allies in an easily targetable burst.

[sblock= OOC]
>Minor: Wild Shape back to elf, shift to E8
>Standard: Attack Scar with Chill Wind (vs. FORT), 1d20+9= 28 (another 19- so close; if that hits, deals 5 cold damage and attempt to Slide 1- off platform to C 11); rolls Roll Lookup

>Move: to G5 [/sblock]

OOC: stonegod, may we roll saves as we move opponents around? That way I would know if the mage is prone and on the level and not wait for an update? I'll wait with Bellegon's actions since CA gives him boost to hit and damage both. Thank you.

Crush moves onto the ramp remaining on the level with the rest of the party so he doesn't have to climb back if Orien teleports again. He swings toward the opposing leader and pours all the frustration from the race into one mighty swing that leaves the Orien reeling.

[sblock=Actions]
Move: D 10
Standard: Warlord's Strike vs AC Orien (1d20+10=30, 2d8+5=16) CRIT FOR 21 damage, everyone hitting Orien TENT get +3 to damage

Bellegon still moves slowly as his companions focus fire on the far side of the platform. He gets just close enough to curse Orien and then calls for the shadows from the Heart of Qabalrin that draws life from both opponents.

It seems such display of power invigorates dark arcanist as his movement gets noticeably faster.

[sblock=Actions]
Move: D7
Minor: Curse Orien
Standard: Cursebite vs. Fort (Orien, Scar) (1d20+7=26, 1d20+7=22, 2d8+4=13)

Curse; Save (1d6=3, 1d20=11) - FINALLY

Note
- add 3 damage to Orien from Crush effect
- add 2 to hit and 1 to damage to opponents Bellegon has CA (includes all bloodied creatures)
- if this attacks bloodies an enemy dark aura goes up by 1
- if Orien is not bloodied by Crush, he gets curse damage, otherwise Scar

Vok strides down the ramp, calling on his divine aid to heal the wounds he's suffered. After Crush's crushing attack, the half-elf decides to try and finish off this one. His blade strikes a powerful blow.

"You gonna run away again...coward" he shouts.

[sblock=ooc]
*Any damage that may finish the OPPONENTS will be non-lethal

Standard: Valorous Smite on Orien vs ac; dmg (1d20+11=30, 2d8+11=23) hits for 23 and each enemy within 3 squares is subject to my divine sanction. (should be both)

Final Stage: Platform Battle! Round 6

Ryk picks himself up as Spring rejoins him, and with a flick of his wrist, sends his boomerang flying. Fresh blood comes from mage's face. He has no time to sneer before Rikka's chill wind slams him off the platform!

[Scar bloodied and on level 1.]

Crush steps up to the ramp and, reaching down, clocks the Orien scion over the head. The leaves upon a bloody gash running down into the man's eye.

[Bloodied.]

But the Oriens have little time to rest as Bellegon whispers secrets to his dark masters. The two foes groan as dark flames lick their wounds.

[Hit, an CA damage applies]

Vok follows up Crush's assault with renewed vigor with a holy smite that wraps divine wrath against the two foes.

[Hit]

The two scions glance at each other, knowing their fortunes were rapidly changing. Picking himself up, the mage dusts himself off. The games up, Lawren. Wasn't as rigged as you thought, eh? The sardonic mage makes a sarcastic wave to the gathered before his is gone.[sblock=Ryk, Rikka]Your keen eyes pick up the mage as he teleports next to a comely drink vendor in the stands. He takes a drink and raises it before drinking.[/sblock]

The scion, however, does not share his friend's good humor. Hate and anger fills his features. No one treats me this way! He cuts space once again, appearing next to the halfling that had been giving him so much trouble. Even as divine justice sears his flesh, he plunges the blade forward. Caught off guard, Ryk can only watch as sword catches him under the ribs. He blinks once, then falls.

The crowd collectively gasps, stunned!

[Scion teleports and attacks Ryk with combat advantage from teleporting while taking damage from Vok's sanction; even with penalty and added defenses from Vok, Ryk is hit for 19hp. The attack is not nonletheal and Ryk is at -3 and dying.

You suspect you have one round before the arena guards react and/or get here]

Final Stage: Platform Battle! Round 7
[sblock=Maps]Platforms

Level 2
attachment.php

There are three levels above the ground. Each platform is actually made of a see-through substance, so you have line of sight (but not line of effect) through them. Every level is 10' above the next (and Level 1 is 10' above the ground). There are no railings anywhere. On the map, a red border indicates a platform above you; a blue border represents a platform below.

There are two ramps (the darker stone) going from Level 1 to 2; the triangle marks the entrance on either level. Going up the ramp is considered difficult terrain.

There are ropes hanging from each corner of the platforms on Level 3 and from Level 1 towards the ground. They are 5' long.[/sblock]Combat Rules
Actions will be handled in posting order; I will bot folks that don't post within a day using at-wills only. I will post info about the monsters as discovered. Other important rules are summarized below.[sblock=Important Rules]Hop Down: Acrobatics DC 15 not to fall, landing on feet w/ no damage.

Reduce Falling Damage: Trained Acrobatics; reduce damage by 1/2 check.

Vertical Reach: Listed below (estimated for Crush):
  • Vok 9'2" (1.833 squares)
  • Bellegon 8'7" (1.722 sqs)
  • Crush 10'5" (2.08 sqs)
  • Rikka 5'5" 9'0" (1.81 sqs)
  • Ryk 7'6" (1.5 sqs)

Long Jump:
DC 5/10 to jump 1 square (running/not running), 10/20 to jump 2 squares.

High Jump: Going from Level 1 to 2 or Level 3 to center platform requires Athletics DC as follows:
  • Vok DC 5 running, 10 standing
  • Bellegon DC 7 running, 14 standing
  • Crush DC 0 (always reaches)
  • Rikka DC 5 running, 10 standing
  • Ryk DC 13 running, 25 standing
To grab the rope dangling from the center platform on Level 3 does not require a jump. To grab the ones from the other two pillars requires the same difficulties as for jumping above, except Crush needs an Athletics DC 5 standing/10 running to jump the 1 square horizontally.

Climbing: It is a DC 10 Athletics check to climb the ropes; you fall if you roll 5 or lower. Remember, its double movement to climb.

Falling: 1d10 damage per level fell.[/sblock]Combat Details
