OOC: I knew there was something wrong with my post and I realized what's it. Stonegod mentioned disrupting the priests' rituals, which I intended to do too, without realizing that you must know the contents of the sblocked info to knw about the ritual. I must have though that anyone else made the roll and we all knew about it (which never happened). Prime can't make the roll btw; his best modifier is +3.

In this case Dimsdale, if you think Prime doesn't have any particular reason to drop the cultist prone then he doesn't use the Knockback Warhammer's power on CP3 and he's not prone

Fear, pure paralyzing fear, the kind he felt as a child when the mob took him from his home... Death is my shield! Death is my flail! Death is with me! Kamotz begins a prayer as Whiggins tears ruts in the dirt circling the Mausoleum, My shield shall not faulter! My Flail shall not fail! I am Death! the dire wolf leaps over Prime in one go, as his packmate gathered courage. Hear me mortals and know fear! For there is no escape from Death! Whiggins locks his visage on the newly summoned undead, hackles raising even further than before. With a vicious bark the dire wolf bared his fangs and snapped at the creature, circling the skeleton, looking for an opening. Kamotz finished his prayer, I am Death and I claim this land as your graves, face me fouspawn of Zal'Ekthees and know Death's Embrace.

The ground around Kamotz lit aflame with dark radiance, flitting, causing the shifters bloodstained robes to show their true layers of gore. The black light surrounded the Orb of Death and his lackeys closest the incensed shifter. Kamotz still shook with fear, but his faith bolstered him in battle and he knew Death already.

Vermitrax's eye flicker with cyan light, as almost invisible strings extend from its fingertips and attach to the recently summoned skeleton. The creature contracts and contorts, moving awkwardly towards one of the guards and slashing at him. "Stop the priests, they are summoning undead with a ritual. Disrupt them or we'll be swarmed!"

Hypnotize: hits Boneshard's will: Boneshard skeleton: 21 vs CM2 AC for 4 dmg plus 5 ongoing dmg.

The assassin's attack prevents one of the priest from speaking. Prime knocks down another priest while the wizard mind controls a foe to hit him again. However, the priest still mumbles his chant, obvious to what is happening to him. The death or makes multiple attacks, first causing the Kamotz's wolf pet to flee. In doing so, the best knocks his rider Kamotz off.

In doing so, the best knocks his rider Kamotz off, but the paladin manages to land on his feet. The beholder rotates towards Kamotz, fixing his large eye on him, causing Kamotz to feel a strange sensation of...death. Another eye focusses on him, lifting him into the air and throwing him as if he were a small rock. And a third eye blasts negative energy at the construct, causing a minor wound. The priest continue to chant, creating another undead foe which swings at Kamotz, but misses. The two fighters guard the entrance, refusing to move, but have weapons drawn. The bone shard creature doesn't nothing as it is unable to break away from the wizards mind control.

OOC: BS1 isn't Dominated; Vermitrax was using Hypnotism, which forces the target to move or make a melee basic attack, with no other lasting effects


Prime looks back at the prone, still chanting priest. Killing it looks like a priority, but also the floating monster must be dealt with before he blasts everyone to death. But he's floating. Unsure of what to do, he waits until the rest of the group acts.
