What does that (D) means?

It means that the caster can end the spell at will.

 

[Cloudgatherer]

The (D) means that the spell can be "dismissed" by the caster. Dismissing a spell ends it before the duration is up (so a caster can end it before the 1 min/level). It takes a standard action to dismiss a spell.
