anyone else have bad experiences with rpg.net?

i got banned from rpg.net for "being a sockpuppet" even though i did nothing wrong. i didn't even have any other accounts on the site. anyone else have any similar experiences?

They're pretty banhappy over there, to the point that you can click on just about any random 2+ year old thread and half the users are perma'd.

The overmoderation seems to have succeeded in razing the place to a barren and uniform flatland where no interesting discussion ever happens.

One time I invited rpg.net out to dinner and they ordered a bunch of extra appetizers and drinks and then at the end of the meal insisted we split the check, even though I only had one entree.
