Best way to temporarily see an ignored post?

This comes up from time to time, due to needing to follow a conversation, wanting an aluded to link, or simply checking to see if it is time to rethink the ignore because of some quoted portion in another message.

What's the best way to do this? Obviously, you can edit the list, but that's clunky. I've also logged out. Is there a cleaner way? (I know some forums have options to handle this explicity, but I've looked several times here and haven't spotted it yet.)

There is no particular function designed to enable this - the whole point is to make it so you'd have to go out of your way to see that which aggravates you. Making it easy would rather defeat the purpose of the function.

That being said, logging out, reading what you want, and then logging back in is pretty darned easy, really.

You could open the page in a second internet browser, one where you aren't logged in.
