Lephisto swings wildly at the goblin. While his blows do not land home, he still manages to send a prayer towards Growl, who feels rejuvenated.

The goblin responds in kind, unable to find its way past Lephisto's guard.

Shocked into action, Yelder rushes to Feyr's side in an attempt to aid the invoker, but the bladeling's anatomy is too unfamiliar for him to be of much aid.

[sblock=Status]Initiative:
25: Goblin Sharpshooter (-35, dead)
20: Adran (13/28, bloodied, Blighted, blinded (save ends))
19: Goblin Hexer (-9, Divine Challenged)
18: Alek (14/30, bloodied, 5 ongoing poison, weakened (save ends)) <== Your turn.
17: Feyr (4/26, bloodied, 5 ongoing poison)
16: Blighted Rat (-46, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 1 (-44, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 2 (-46, dead)
10: Centipede Swarm 3 (-2, Cursed)
4: Growl (7/30, bloodied, blinded (save ends))
3: Lephisto (9/27, bloodied)

The Hexer blessedly misses Lephisto.

Yelder runs over to Feyr and, of course, fails his heal check.[/sblock]

Adran calls out, "Growl - help Lephisto! Ahead of you."

[sblock=OOC]Oops. Just using that minor (free) action I forgot about when I posted earlier.[/sblock]

Alright missed that 'at start of turn' bit

Oh, yeah, let me explain. Any status effect (blind, dazed, ongoing damage) take place at the beginning of your turn. Then you save at the end of your turn. So if you're hit with an effect, like the centipedes' poison, the only way to completely avoid it is if someone grants you a save before your turn starts. Typically this means that any "save ends" effect has one guaranteed turn.

Also, ongoing damage is always, or nearly always, "save ends", while some other effects last until the end of the attacker's next turn, or something like that. That's why I don't bother to label ongoing damage with "save ends". Assume ongoing damage ends on a save unless I say otherwise.[/sblock]
